A Good Beginner Book for Intermittent Fasting
I currently practice the 16:8 intermittent fasting and find it to be very helpful in maintaining a healthy weight and keeping my energy up. For anyone wishing to try intermittent fasting this book is a good start. It will go into other options and modifications you can do to make this work for you as well as some basic exercises and diet info to make this a well rounded, healthy experience. Always check with your doctor before doing any new diet plan, especially one like this. Even though this book targets women, it will also be helpful to men as well. A good read, well researched and worth a look.

Needs pics of exercises
The section of this book specifically about intermittent fasting is very informative. It goes into the biological and chemical functions behind fasting. The section discussing exercise is a bit contradictory and makes me think this book was authored by two different experts, one who knows a lot about fasting and light exercise like walking and yoga and the other that is an expert on cardio and resistance exercises. The sections on cardio, resistance, and yoga exercises really need pictures for those of us who can’t fully visualize certain positions.

Informed by my Oncologist of the importance of Walking and Intermittent Fasting, I found an excellent book on Walking by HealthFit Publishing. They have now published a book on Intermittent Fasting for Women so I immediately got a copy.This was a very insightful and easy read. Loosing a few pounds is always nice but what I am most interested in is creating a sustainable, healthier lifestyle change.This book will provide you with advice on:* How to loose weight safely and consistently* How intermittent fasting works and affects key hormones* Advice on how to get started and stay on courseWhat I enjoyed the most was the section on how to combine intermittent fasting and exercise (especially walking).Incorporating Walking, Exercise and Intermittent Fasting in my life will get me to my ultimate goal - Live a sustainable happier and healthier life.HealthFit Publishing great job on this book!

This book is a game-changer for women!
I'd heard a lot about intermittent fasting but assumed it was just a way to lose weight by skipping meals. This book proved that I was mistaken! I had no idea that intermittent fasting has so many health benefits (anti-aging, improved sleep, hormone balance, and so on). This book on intermittent fasting for women is simple, concise, and comprehensive, covering many supporting topics such as hormones and fitness. It's incredibly informative, but it's presented straightforwardly that anyone can understand. I've emailed links to this book to all of my girlfriends because it's not only a great introduction to Intermittent Fasting, but it's also packed with knowledge on hormones, food, digestion, and nutrition.

Definitely worth looking into if you wish to lose weight
I have been doing my own version of intermittent fasting for a good few months now, not intentionally though, but I have in fact lost weight. Years previously I’ve tried the 5:2 diet but not with much luck. I’ve also lost weight by healthy eating and cutting out alcohol, and whilst doing that I’ve subconsciously cut out eating during the day, and have in fact found myself doing 18:6 fasting a few days a week. I’ve then read this book, which I must say I found very informative, lots of ideas and tips and tricks. One thing I didn’t find out was if 18:6 is something you do 7 days a week, or just a chosen few days. I’m interested to know, and having read the book, I’ve looked into joining the associated social media group to find out. Highly recommend if you want to look at the different ways you can enjoy this lifestyle. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

Excellent book on Intermittent Fasting!
As a beginner in the area of Intermittent Fasting, I found this book to be highly informative and to-the-point. It helped me decide whether intermittent fasting is right for me or not and also helped me prepare myself for it mentally. I loved the bonus in the end in regards to Walking and how that form of exercise can compliment intermittent fasting effectively!
