Kalitacoffee maker Black ET-102

Amazing flavor.
Replicates the barista slow pour technique that pulls out the full flavor from the coffee beans.

Looks like picture.
The packaging was impressive a box within a box plus bubble wrap. I love the size of the coffee pot perfect for one person mayb two. I read reviews before ordering and also ordered a ceramic kalita wave to use with coffee pot instead of using the plastic one. Either way I will have a spare...good advice. Can also use coffee pot as a regular coffee maker it comes with a lid it looks like .....I haven't used it yet. I just took it out of the box today but overall I am impressed. One little dent in the box but coming from Japan that's impressive in itself.

Great coffee maker, less plastic, affordable, works in the US
coffee maker works great. There is a copper tube that heats the water So it’s not sending hot water through plastic tubes. It does touch a plastic shower head though and go through a plastic kalita brewer but I plan on replacing that with a steel, glass, or ceramic one. Or I use my steel Kalita that I use for pour over, it’s just a different shape. This is the most affordable coffee maker with the least plastic parts I could find. And I love Kalita products so I had to try this. It also works fine with American Electical outlets, I saw reviews stating you need a converter or something, that is not the case it works fine here in Pennsylvania. You do not need a converter this will work fine in your home here in the US. I would buy this again and buy another one for my office. The heating plate also stays on until you shut it off so I haven’t tested it to see if it has an automatic shut off after an hour. And all the directions are in Japanese so no go there. Probably better coffee brewing, and less plastic touching your coffee than almost all coffee makers under $300. I wish they would make one with a no plastic brewer or a steel shower head. Even if it was double or triple the price I would buy that.

finally a coffee maker that makes great coffee
First thing I did was put my stainless steal Kalita Wave on it and while it's not the same as a true Kalita pour over it is the best home brew I have ever had . I even tried it with store brand coffee and what a difference it made in my morning cup of Joe. It says it's a 4-5 cup machine but it only makes 1 of my giant mugs.

Great "pout over" cheat machine
Easy to use coffee maker. Simulates pour over, drip coffee without having to stand there and pour over.

Excellent hot coffee
Makes hot coffee and keeps it hot. Also has excellent carafe .. does not leak when you pour the coffee. Keep in mind that the capacity is not 4 cups .. they must have very small cups in Japan .. in USA "mug" units the capacity is more like two mugs.

Takes almost an hour for a full pot to brew
Unusually long brew time. Coffee produced is ok, but it's impossible to make coffee before work as it struggles along. I'm not sure if perhaps it's a faulty machine, but it's not worth the price.
