KATA 10 Inch Mini Hacksaw for Metal Cutting with 3PCS Blades in Tight Space

I was cutting the heads off some rusted out bolts and my jigsaw, with blades meant for metal, was not getting through. This little jigsaw tore through those things with relative ease. It was easy to use and a great price. I like the compact size and the extra blades and everything. If I had to saw my way to freedom, this is the hacksaw I'd want.

PURCHASED THIS ONLY TO SLICE OFF A 2 INCH LONG AND 1 AND A HALF INCH ROUND PIECE OF STEEL THAT CAME WITH A HOME LEG EXTENSION/ LYING HAMSTRING MACHINE COMBO WHICH IS A STOPPER THEY PLACED IN THE BOTTOM THAT RIGHT FROM THE GET GO I KNEW WAS GIVING ME 2 FULL INCHES LESS OF RANGE OF MOTION ON BOTH THE LEG EXTENSION AND THE LYING HAMSTRING CURL SO WITH CAREFUL ANNALASYS I KNEW SAWING OFF THAT STOPPER WOULD STILL WORK WITHOUT MESSING ANYTHING UP. SO THIS SAW WAS PERFECT!!! THE STEEL TUBING WAS SUPERBLY TOUGH AS NAILS NOT CHEAP FEELING OR SOUNDING IF YOU KNOCK ON IT SOME SOME DO SO THIS WAS NOT A 5-10 MINUTE JOB CAUSE THAT STEEL WAS THICK AS WELL SO I HAD TO TAKE MANY BRAKES AND GO IN FROM ALL ANGLES, TOP, SIDES, BOTTOM CAUSE IT WAS HARDER THAN I THOUGHT SO WHEN I CAN FINALLY SEE THAT 90 % WAS SAWED OFF I JUST TOOK A PRESSURE PLIER AND JUST YANKED IT OFF WITH EASE. MISSION ACOMPLISHED. THIS SAW WAS SO COMFORTABLE TO USE AS WELL AND THE BLADE AFTER ALL THAT SAWING WAS STILL IN PERFECT COMDITION. HIGHLY RECCOMEND!’

Bought to shorten the legs on a metal loft bed. Requires lots of effort and patience but it can be done. After we finished the third leg the blade snapped but the product had extra blades and lasted longer than expected. The handle is soft and didn’t hurt my hand with all the pressure we were using to get the metal cut. Great product.

The holder itself is good quality. It holds the blade snug and is easy to remove or attach. It does come with a few replacement blades, but they do not last long. They dull very quickly while sawing polycarbonate/lexan (plexiglass). The things I were sawing may have just been very tough, but the blades didn't last long. In the end you get what you pay for, which in this case is a cheap and simple hand saw.

Friggin LOVE this thing! It cut through a solid, thick, metal bolt (i forget the bolt size, but it was at least an M10) and the small size of the saw was exactly what I needed! The bolt underneath a rusty truck in a closed-off spot at a bad angle and normal tools couldn’t reach it. There was barely any clearance, but this saw was perfect to fit and reach it and cut the bolt! It took a lot of effort, but I chalk that up to the angle I was at and the bad clearance. This inexpensive saw helped me complete my project! Worth the money.

Wonderful hacksaw delivered in good time

I bought it to specifically use it on the detachable screen of my Lian Li HydroShift II LCD-S AIO. I had to cut some of the plastic to make space for it as the large heatsinks on the Z890 Apex did not allow it to attach. This saw did the job perfectly.

Does a good job and very compact.
