This was perfect! I used it for a diaper cake and the recipient loves Harry Potter so she can reuse for props as well. I thought it is good quality material and well made.

Scarf is soft and of good quality.

The media could not be loaded. I got this as a gift for my future nephew. This is so cute and I definitely recommend. The kit comes with glasses, scraf, and a crochet wand...pretty much 1 size fits all. Great quality! The embroidery could be better /Clean up stitching more.

The wand is kinda this sad piece of yarn and the glasses are too big for a newborn.

Upon opening the product there was a chemical smell that immediately permeated the room. I opened the scarf and want to feel it and the chemical smell was transferred to my hands. Even after washing a couple times I could not remove the smell. I would never put an infant in this scarf with the nauseating smell that came from the products.

The glasses are adult sized glasses not newborn glasses.

This Newborn Photography Prop is useable, but not designed specifically for newborns. The glasses arrived bent; this could potentially be a deliberate "feature" based on the series the glasses are meant to imitate, but it is most likely just a factory flaw. The glasses can be bent back into shape, but the quality error is important to note. There is nothing about this set that makes it specifically for Newborn Photography; the scarf is very large and not made specifically for newborns. In fact, any child or adult could wear the scarf as a prop or costume. The glasses are a generic small prop and, as noted before, constructed poorly.However, if you are in search of a cost-effective prop set, this scarf and mini glasses will work. The quality of the items in this set are in line with the cost, so I have rated this a four-star. The scarf is a decent quality but as previously mentioned, it is way too big for a newborn, baby, toddler or preschooler. If you plan on using this for newborn photography, it will only be a prop to use in conjunction with a newborn wrap or as a background/foreground prop.
