A great combination of coloring and seeking out hidden objects. Two books in one, plus the coloring pages ae very detailed and great drawings. Review: 53 Stunning Designs based on Mythological creatures and stories – printed both sides of the page - I will attach a silent full book flip-through video to this review so you can see if it will work for you. I will also post a few photos of designs in the book. I own both of Kerby Rosanes earlier books (“Animorphia” and “Imagimorphia”) and really like both books. I thought it might be difficult for the artist to reach the same level with his new book. I was wrong. This is absolutely my favorite Rosanes coloring book yet. The designs are beautiful and odd at the same time – just what I want from this artist. The subject matter is cohesive and presents a great story of mythological creatures and stories. What was different and made the book more unique, is that there is less of the doodle creatures in the designs. While I love the doodle style, it made for a wonderful change of pace to have less in this book. It really provided a fantastic view of the artist's wide range of skill. I hope to see more coloring books in both styles in the future. As soon as I held and saw the physical book in my hands, I immediately ordered a second copy. I want to be able to use whatever coloring medium I wish on these fantastic designs. I'll probably pick up the UK version (in several months when it comes out) for pencil coloring as my experience is that the UK paper is best for that medium. This is what I experienced while coloring in this book and testing my various coloring medium on the paper. 53 Designs based on Mythological creatures and stories as interpreted in a refined form of Kerby Rosanes doodle style artwork. Designs are printed on both sides of heavyweight soft white slightly smooth non-perforated paper Many designs spread across two pages Two page designs have a white strip running down both sides of the page at the binding Hybrid Glued and Sewn Binding (lots of little stitches rather than the few in a sewn binding.) I don't suggest cutting pages out as you will lose important parts of designs. Had difficulty getting the book to open flat for coloring Alcohol-based markers bleed through Most water-based markers bleed through spotty (my only exception was the brush end of my Tombows which did not bleed through) India ink pens left shadows on the back of the page Gel pens did not leak through the paper Coloring pencils did well with this paper. While it is slightly smooth, it still has enough tooth to grip pigment fairly well. I tested both oil and wax based pencils with similar results. I was able to layer the same color, multiple colors and also to blend fairly easily with a blending stick.

Highly recommended for fantasy art lovers and serious colorists alike
Mythomorphia: An Extreme Coloring and Search Challenge is a remarkable addition to Kerby Rosanes’ body of work. The quality of the paper is excellent—thick, durable, and able to handle a wide range of mediums, from colored pencils and markers to light water-based applications, without significant bleed-through or warping. The illustrations are everything one would expect from this artist: highly detailed, imaginative, and engaging. Each page offers intricate designs while still maintaining a sense of flow and fun, making the process of coloring both relaxing and creatively stimulating. The inclusion of mythological beings is particularly impressive, with each character rendered in a way that feels fresh, unique, and full of personality. What sets this book apart is its accessibility. It can be enjoyed equally by casual colorists seeking a rewarding pastime and by more experienced artists looking for a challenge. The balance between intricate linework and broader spaces allows for experimentation with techniques, shading, and blending, making it suitable for a wide range of skill levels. Overall, Mythomorphia is a beautifully crafted book that combines high-quality production with imaginative artistry. It is an excellent choice for anyone who appreciates fantasy-inspired artwork and wishes to elevate their coloring experience.

Beautiful
The designs and details in the pictures are so well done. It is overall a beautiful color book. My family members loved it so much that they gave me the money to order for them.

Cool intricate illustrations, non perforated, double sided prints
Might try spiral bound next time purchase from this author. Great work, good paper quality, fun way to destress. Only issue with paperback version is non perforated pages n double sided printed. Also, some pictures are two pages, would be nice if they came folded into book n perforated to where could have 2 page pictures on one piece of paper that jus folds out of book. Plus it's aggravating trying to color close to binding seam when can't tear pages out. Even though it's thick paper, still wouldn't wanna use markers cuz will show thru to other side. Thinking about trying to take a razor knife to inside seam n cutout pages to make it easier to color.

Superb ✨
Obsessed! The pages are very thick and great quality. I use color pencils and they glide effortlessly and pick up pigment very well. The binding is perfection, no loose or detaching pages. This book is perfection! These are some of my WIPs and blank pages that I like.

Amazing, Detailed Coloring Book for Focused Creativity
Amazing coloring book! The illustrations are fantastic, and as someone mildly on the ASD spectrum who hyper-focuses, it’s perfect—I spent 14 hours on one illustration, and it turned out great. It’s budget-friendly considering the time and enjoyment you get versus the cost. Note: don’t use alcohol markers, as the pages are printed on both sides. The thick paper works wonderfully with water-based markers like I use.

AMAZING!!! BUY THIS!!!
Love love love this coloring book! Purchased for my 9 year old niece and am now buying one for myself. She loves it, I love it! Amazing designs that are so enjoyable to color. I usually end up getting bored while coloring in other books but not this one. So many unique designs and such a wide variety of images throughout the entire book. Every page is very different from the next and I very much enjoy that about this book. Zero complaints. Best coloring book I've purchased.
