PWR-1000-12 Shielded AC UL Power Cord (12 feet)

I recently decided to update the look of my TV viewing area, getting rid of the entertainment center & wall mounting the LCD TV. The power cord that came with the TV was too short once on the wall mount arm & routed through the Wiremold channel that keeps the cords neat & hidden ( Wiremold CMK90 CordMate Computer and Home Entertainment Cord Cover Kit ). This cord was just the length that I needed & I liked the fact that it's shielded, since it runs through the Wiremold next to the cable TV and HDMI cords. Very inexpensive & quick Amazon service makes it 5 stars for me.

This cable is exactly what it says it is. The ends fit well on my monitor and in the electrical outlet, and the length allows me to use a stand up desk. I've had bad power cables before that would fall out of the monitor, but this one fits snug. The cable isn't thick and heavy like some of the heavier duty ones are, which lets it fit in my desk's wire tray easily. If you're looking at this type of thing, you probably already know what you need.

I asked for a specific cable for a Dell 3646 and this cable popped umas compatible when if fact it is not (needs to be 65W 0r better).. Probably too much effort in getting something out the door.I did not contact the seller due to time constraints on my end and I wound up buyinh the correct cable for fifty bucks.

The cable works well and seems to be of good quality. It wasn't long enough for the task but ok for short term use.

Quality is fine wire is a bit smaller than I expected. Works fine. I would buy again.

Read he fine print, this is not a normal extention cord like I wanted for my refrigerator... This only works for computers as u can not put a normal plug into the end! Great if that's what u need.

I am a musician, and I needed longer AC cables for my speakers and monitors. These fit the bill. Now I am not as limited by power sources in the placement of my equipment.

No real shielding. I could not find any shielding in the cable, and I measured no significant EMF attenuation compared to regular extension cord. For me, it's useless if I want to shield me and other devices from the EMF radiated from the cable.
