To start off, I had tried out a similar ambient lighting kit from another seller and in a short amount of time the lights began to stop working. It also did not have a remote to control it which I disliked because a remote is what I preferred over having to use an app. That brings us to this kit, I purchased the 6 light kit so I could run 1 for each door and 2 for the front center to light up the dash. The lights really look amazing and are super affordable. They do the job and I love that I can change the color or setting of the lights (fade: seen in the video) or theres a few options for it to flash to the beat of the music. Of course you can also have it be a solid color with no flashing. As for installation, if you've done it before its not bad, I feel the most time comsuming part for me was installing the thin fiber optic tube into the hollow tube. The best way to install it as far as I know is to have someone hold the hollow tube and stand at the other end of the tube with it completely straightened out and add the fiber optic tubing into it. I also want to mention that the seller for this product really makes sure you are taken care of. I had a couple issues and the seller not only took care of those issues but made sure I was completely content with my purchase. If you decide to purchase these lights, you are making a great choice! Side note: the foot lighting is the govee brand led strips that I installed. Those do not come with this set.

Yes, they’re tough to install, but not horrible. I did it myself - maybe spent a couple hours out there. Best to install in a garage or something because during the day outside it’s hard to see how it’s really looking. Perfect edition to my car though. I love it. Great upgrade for the price.

Do NOT buy this. The brightness is only on one side. The quality is bad. After 29 days I can't return it & the app won't repair & you are stuck using the remote to turn off and make color changes.

Installed it in my corvette, easy installation but not as bright as i would have liked, yet still bright enough.

I like the concept and how easy is to install however, the light is not uniform; really bright at the begining and end of the fiber but, it doesn't glow in the body of it. I have 1 door kinda light, the other one is not visible at all. Leds work, I'm not sure what causes that.

When it's cloudy out you can hardly see it which is disappointing, but what's even more disappointing is that it's still not very bright even when it's dark. There's also spot that are brighter than other spots. For the 4-6 hrs of work to install this, its not worth it

It starts bright but after 1 foot the light gradually dies. It's easy to apply because it slides into the cracks. And it doesn't use a y tape or glue. but anything longer than 1 foot is a waste. So the advertising pictures are extremely misleading. I love the idea of being able to change the colors, But thats all. I've had better. This practically sucks if you want a consistent light. Or you have to put a light at both ends. But if the optic cable has any imperfections in it. It will show every crack.
