Less restrictive
This filter allows more air flow than the activated carbon filter their replaced. A lot more.

Great fit and great price
Bought one of these for a 2010 Toyota Corolla LE along with an engine air filter and both were a breeze to install, taking less than five minutes total. The price was right too, especially considering most places will charge you $70-110 to have both engine and cabin air filters replaced. Meanwhile, you can purchase both for about $30 and have it done in 15 minutes or less...

I wasn't as happy with this filter as I expected to be
I realize this is a third party filter, but I expected more. I had seen comments here that the number of pleats was less, but I didn't know what they were comparing it to and what less meant. The number of pleats is remarkably less (see pictures). Also, it was not as easy to install as suggested. After ordering it I watched 5 youtube videos on installation. The one by a chap who calls himself THIS GUY was very complete (Amazon doesn't allow linking to outside websites).I followed the procedure and had no surprises. Everything seemed to go as indicated, but my glove box door does not operate smoothly after the installation. If you're changing from a Toyota filter to this brand it up & down can be confusing. The Toyota filter has arrows pointing up to indicate This Side Up, while this TYC filter has arrows pointing down to indicate direction of air flow.Maybe I had unrealistic expectations but I had read good words about this filter on the web. Maybe they've changed or the company paid somebody.

Similar to the original Toyota air filter but it has only half the amount of folds
I bought this cabin air filter replacement for my 2014 Hybrid Camry. The process of changing out the air filter was very easy, it took me only 2 minutes to change out the filter, you can look at the pictures to see the process of changing out the filter. My AC was emitting a weird funky smell, we had the original Toyota air filter on and we're currently at 27,000 miles. The reason I gave this air filter a 3 stars rating it's because the air filter that I received has only HALF of the folds compared to the original Toyota air filter. The picture shown on the item's page shows the same air filter as the original Toyota air filter but the one I received does not match the picture. Look at the side by side comparison of the air filters. I'm not sure if there are going to be any issues with having only half of the folds. Even though the air filter that I received is different from the original air filter in number of folds, the sizing matched the original air filter. I ran my AC at full blast with the new air filter and there was no more smell.

Just like OEM - 2009 Highlander - very low cost
This filter arrived in good condition when ordered directly from Amazon.com. The original box was packaged inside a shipping box. It came with good directions including photos. Even though the printed directions did not list my 2009 highlander, it was a perfect fit, and the photos matched my glove box. When I compared this $9 TYC filter to the OEM original, I could not see any differance. Note - the original OEM had an "up" arrow printed on it, but the TYC had an "air flow" arrow printed on it. The filters, just like filters for you home furnance, have two differant types of sides. One is a "fuzzy" side, and one a more "frame like / structured side". These filters have a fuzzy side, and a slightly rough plastic side. When you pull the old one out, note which side is up and which one down, and put the new one in the same way. In my case, the fuzzy side went "down" closest to the visible fan.

This makes cabin filters practically useless for their intended use
Fits in my 2014 Corolla and it's about 1/3 the OEM price from my local dealer. Installation only takes a couple of minutes, and that's if you take your time. Cabin filters are a major source of revenue for car dealers and car repair shops, and about they only thing they do is protect the fan and motor. Car dealers will tell you that they filter the air that comes in your cabin, which in a way is true, BUT if you think about it... what happens each time you open your window ? All that benefit is gone. This makes cabin filters practically useless for their intended use. But for $7 about every six months, sure, why not ?

1/2 The Price of Other Options
Cabin air filters were not on my "old school" parts list, but they serve a purpose. Buying this from auto stores, and discount stores will result in paying twice the price of this one. Cheap, and easy to install, what more do I need?

Good price and fast delivery
I've always bought my cabin air filters from Amazon. The Toyota dealer charges around $70 to change them which is about $55 for the filter plus labour, but they always remove them at service anyway to check them for no charge! From Amazon they're always in the $15-$20 range and they work fine and take less than 5 mins to change. Nice product!

Great for the price
Much cheaper than genuine factory cabin filters and works just as good in my opinion.

Great filter!
Purchased this to replace the cabin filter in my Rav4. Works great! No need to get the more expensive OEM from Toyota. Replace this once a year or earlier depending on where you live and drive.Install was straight forward. Pay attention to the air flow direction arrow on the filter. If you are unsure, stick a thin piece of paper into the cavity with the fan running on low, you'll find it very quickly where the air flow is going. After using the TYC for a few years, I bought a couple of filters from china to try out. They came in not so nice shape, a bit squished so I had to get them back into shape. In terms of filtration, I think it did an OK job. I don't think i really noticed much of a difference as to how much dust came into the cabin. But compare with OEM and TYC, the quality is definitely better on the TYC. The TYC does not have as many pleats as the picture shows. It has less than OEM and the chinese noname brand I bought. How much difference does it make? To me, not noticeable. I certainly have not noticed that the air is any "fresher". They are not charcoal filters so I wouldn't expect to be.
