We were looking for Trekking / Hiking Pole Replacement Tips and came across these on Amazon. Based on our recent use, they seem to be very good quality, durable, and fit our trekking poles perfectly. I highly recommend using these as a Protection Cover even when not in use. As you know the metal tips of these poles are sharp and can puncture a hole in your travel bag, car upholstery, etc., so these will really help to ensure that does not happen. Fit perfectly but I didn't need EIGHT of them.

I've been walking most morning for the past 25 years with a wooden walking stick as my "partner" and it was finally showing its age. A bit of sandpaper and paint helped solve most of its aging, but the bottom tip was beat up, loose and worn. I checked around for a crutch tip, but they were all too big and fell off too easily. So, I looked at Amazon, and found what I needed right away. The trick was I needed 1/2" tips, and Amazon had a few to choose from. I chose the tallest ones with the thickest "foot" or bottom. I poured some rubber glue into the tip cavity and pushed and turned the "stick" until it was nice and tight onto the new rubber tip. It's now been about 3 months and its performance is perfect! The tip holds well to the walking stick, and it shows no sign of wear or tear -- I'm still using the first one from the package of eight.

The tips fit securely and feel substantial. The price was great.

These are not complex devices, but they work fine. I bought them to replace the original tips on my trekking poles I use for walking every day. The old ones were worn down, and these made a good replacement. I also put one on the tip of an umbrella I was using as a walking cane, to avoid both ticking noise and slipping on pavement. I couldn’t really get it off of the umbrella, but it’s ok to leave it on.
