Zhu Zhu Pets Ice Cream Parlor

I ordered this 4-pak of ZhuZhu pets thru Amazon from Target. They sent me the ZhuZhu pets Ice Cream Parlor, instead of the 4-pak of ZhuZhu pets. It was for a birthday gift, and I didn't have time to return it or re-order. I was disappointed about the mixup, but the toy is cute.

Our children's neighbor wanted "Spottie" for her birthday. At the time, she wasn't available alone, so I ordered this set. We received the Ice Cream Parlor instead. This was returned, and reordered. Then, I was notified that the set wasn't available, so I was offered the opportunity to either cancel the order and receive a refund, or to wait. I did cancel the order--three times. Now, I've been notified that the set is on it's way again. This is not worth the effort. As the shipment cannot apparently be stopped again, we'll see if it's the actual Zhu Zhu hamster set or the Ice Cream Parlor again. But, by the time it gets here, it'll be a month past the birthday for which this was intended, so it doesn't really matter anymore. It's too bad I haven't found any local stores that carry Spottie. We've checked everywhere that sells Zhu Zhu Pets.

My nieces loved this gift! and so did my nephews... they has so much fun playing with them at christmas

I purchased this set for my 4 year old. She loves it. Rocky accidentaly went through the wash and came out good as new. Now THAT'S durable!

i bought this item coming back from deployment for R&R hoping to gift it to my friend. When I got back, TARGET shipped me an Ice Cream Parlor instead. I'm not going to lie; I was a bit angry and disappointed. I had to return the item to TARGET.Don't buy from target! It has happened more than once!

As others have said, the sliding window basically balances in the slot. There is no clipping it into place or other way to keep it steady. Even a slight bump to the toy (the zhu zhu pet moves inside it!) can make it fall over. Moving the window for a kid is absolutely impossible, i doubt many adults could move the window without knocking the whole thing over.The ice cream cones don't really fit inside the holes snuggly. So you have a small kid with a top heavy, narrow bottomed piece of the toy, and they just fall over easily. The obvious thought when you get it is "Oh at least they will stay steady in the holes" but they are still very wobbly and fall out easily. If they had made the holes deeper, the cones would stay put.I cannot imagine that anyone at the toy company put this on a desk for 10 minutes or had any child try to play test it and could not realize this was a waste of people's money.At $6 that I paid for it, it is ok. If I had paid the original price of $20, it would be going back to the store.Admittedly, I think the company tried to keep the window from being permanently attached so that you could take the unit apart and put it back in the box, which is a nice idea, but the frustration caused is not worth it.

Apparently I did not read this review before I bought this toy, but as the others state, it is made poorly and does not stay together very well at all. I offered to glue it for my daughter, but it doesn't seem to bother her. Of course it doesn't really get played with either. Don't waste your money. In fact, the zhu zhu pets don't really need any add-on toys, they are fun on their own.

Purchased for our daughter's friend (birthday gift) - she really likes it apparently! Great product at a very reasonable price.

A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY CANT EVEN PUT IT TOGETHER ITS EITHER FAULTY OR A BAD COPY OF THE REAL THING
