I have used this for 30+ years in conjunction with Wolmans F & P to keep my treated lumber deck in good shape. So easy to use and if one uses a power washer to clean it off it takes you back to practically the new color. No one can believe my deck is almost 40 years old and still looks brand new.

The product worked wonderfully as expected. After completely mixing it into the appropriate amount of water (took about 7-10m by hand), we applied it with a deck brush on the surface of our stained but weathered deck. It quickly foamed up, and after 15m, we were able to easily power wash away the old stain and dirt. The only issue with the product was that one of the three packages we ordered arrived quite ballooned up. Luckily the package didn't fail, but I imagine it may have if it were shipped during a warmer period of the year.

Last time I used this stuff was 1993. It worked out then and again this time.Only difference is NO stores stocked it, so had to go here for it.

This works great for cleaning decks! I used it on my front porch, which does not have a roof over it so it gets exposed to the elements all year long (and as a result gets quite dirty). Keep in mind this is not a simple put-on-and-wash-off product; you WILL need to scrub the deck (or at least I had to, but then that porch hadn't been cleaned in years). To make sure this thing actually did anything, I tried scrubbing the deck using just water in one spot and with the product in another spot, and let me tell you, it DEFINITELY makes a difference.

Meh, it didn't work that well. It did brighten SOME patches of the wood, but for the most part...Over-priced and under performed.After power washing my deck, I put down an initial layer of this, let is sit for 5 minutes, then scrubbed with a hard-bristled pushbroom. I definitely saw it pull up gunk because the foam was turning brown as I scrubbed. After hosing it off I could definitely see brightened spots, but it seems that it left -lots- of black marks on the wood (Mildew I guess?) So the next day I went back, used the last bit of the product left and spot-treated the black planks. I even left the stuff on for 10 minutes this time (double what it suggests) and scrubbed again. Washed it off aaaaaaaaaaand, nope didn't help at all, still left black marks.It did however, really brighten up the railings -very- well, but those weren't weathered as the floor planks, But those were a little newer than the rest of the deck. The railings were about 5 years old, and the rest of the deck is about 15.

Bought a small bag of this to see if it would clean up my wood deck / stairs which the previous owner had badly neglected for years. We live in rainy Portland, OR and there was algae and mold caked on... gross. I sprayed this on, waited 10 minutes, went over it with a stiff broom and sprayed it away. Amazing difference! Buying the monster size now to finish the job.

This product was easy to use and it cleaned my deck beautifully. It does require a lot of stirring (until the blue color disappears -- about 5 minutes, which feels like forever when you're stirring) but it does an excellent job cleaning grime and algae discolorations off the wood. I recommend it.

Great product. I applied it in late summer/early fall because it wasn’t too humid and the sun wasn’t too hot. It got pretty cold (10C) one evening when I was applying the last bit. So it works in coldish weather but I wouldn’t recommend it. I didn’t have a pressure washer so I scrubbed it and rinsed it off by hand. It took a long time but it was worth it! It got too cold out for me to apply a sealant but it seems to have survived the winter on its own. In the spring I will seal the wood. I have a huge deck (approx 12 feet by 20 feet.) I used the recommend amounts and I still have a bit left over. I only applied it to the floor of my deck and the railing, but in the spring I will try to do the railing. The picture attached is what it looks like today after a harsh long winter. What I like most is that it’s environmentally friendly.

our weather here is brutal and mildew becomes a huge issue after winter. This product cleaned up what three other products couldn't. Expensive, but it works
