Perfect for spring sowing
A good quality seed compost with a fine, clean texture and good nutrients. Nice to use, with no lumps, and produces speedy germination.

Not "seed ready"
It seems OK. I was really hoping to find some sterilised seed compost. This doesn't claim to be. It's not "seed ready" in so far as you can't just pour it out into a seed tray and sprinkle your seeds on top. You really need to empty it out onto a separate work surface first for processing: - knock all the lumps out and take out a few little twigs - sieve it - wet it. - mix it Anyway, I'm not complaining (much), somebody delivered it to my door and saved me a trip to the local garden centre in a wet February!

Compost Looks Good
Ordered this to prepare my seed planting for spring. Soil is very fine and hopefully good for the seeds. Arrived within the notified time frame and is a good price for the size of bag. Cannot comment on performance until something grows would add that this compost does look better than any i have purchased recently.

Needs to be sieved
I was disappointed about how much large material there is in this mix - too large for seeds to start off in. So it is essential to sieve this before using. You end up losing about 10% of material as being too large to go through the sieve
