Good, dependable and cheap film-style screen protector.
What can I say, this is just a nice screen protector. For about $8 you get two of them, so in case you mess one up during install, or need to refresh an old worn out one (assuming it gets worn out somehow), then you have an extra right in the box, which is great. I am not particularly great at installing these, but this one was simple enough. Clean your screen thoroughly, spray your fingertips with the solution, peel the screen protector and spray the back of it with the solution, then place it on the screen and readjust and push out air bubbles as needed. Super simple. Readjusting is thankfully simple too - since this is for a screen that has curved edges, it's important that this process is doable and easy, so that's a huge plus here. For example, when I got mine placed down, I noticed that I hadn't gotten it quite lined up on the right side - since this is flexible, though, I was able to gently pull and stretch the protector over to the right so that it was lined up, without any hassle. I myself like to put tempered glass on my screens in most situations...but with curved screens I have learned that is a NIGHTMARE unless you are trying very hard to get it right, and even then you can fail and be out of money. So, although I wish this was tempered glass for my preferences, I would say that the ease of install is a fair tradeoff. As for how it functions...I'm usually pretty careful with my phone, but the protector has worked great so far. No damage to my screen, and no scratches on the protector - in fact, I accidentally scratched the protector once, but within minutes it was back to smooth - so the self-healing element of this is legitimate for lighter scratches and scuffs. As for feel...you'll definitely notice that it's on. It doesn't feel like the glass screen. I would even say that it doesn't feel as good as the bare screen itself, but it's not bad at all - just a little plasticky. Most importantly though, it hasn't impaired my ability to use the phone at all - it's not sticky or coarse or anything like that. It's pretty much smooth and performs smoothly as well, it just isn't as perfect as the pure glass underneath. But with a phone like this, that's a fair tradeoff for some extra protection in the long run. For look - I don't notice it when using the phone, unless I slow down and look really close at it. I don't think that it impairs the look of the screen at all personally. My friends noticed that my screen looked a little shinier than usual when I pulled my phone out for the first time with it on, but I haven't noticed any extra glare while using the phone out in bright sunlight myself (and I am in bright sunlight a lot, since I play Pokemon Go a fair bit). Finally...I have a case on this phone, one with a cover for the screen, and all of it works together seamlessly. So no worries on that front either. For as cheap as this thing is, as simple as it is and for as good as it is, I would say don't even think about it, just go for it. This is more than likely the right solution for you.

10 times better than the sticky kind and the unattached kind
Update: i left this review in April 2018. I just (dec 2020) replaced the screen protector again because I dropped the phone hard on gravel last year, and the resulting scratch/gouge was too hard to see the keyboard shift key through for my elderly dad (who was getting my hand-me-down). Just as easy as before. The screen was in perfect condition. ... This is a paid full price, found all on my own, NOT fake review. I use my phone 12-14hrs a day, and the only scratches were from some serious drops. Of which there were many. This held up great. I've used it on 3 of our family phones with great success. This is not the screen protector I wanted. I wanted the one step sticky kind that I know is impossible to get all the bubbles and dust out, but good enough for me. I couldn't find that. And I know I'll never be able to use a tempered glass one anymore because of curved screens on new devices( who thought that was a good idea???). So I gave this one a try. I was really nervous because this one sounded like a pita to apply using "the wet" method. But OMG it was way easier than those sticky ones ( where you had to waste one or two before you even got one good enough to work). Just spritz, apply, and smooth. In a house with six pets I was able to get the screensaver on with only one tiny speck of dust. And after leaving the phone sit for the required amount of time, that speck is practically invisible - no annoying bubble like you get with the sticky kind of screen protector! And if it's not perfectly in place, you can easily slide it around a bit before it dries. I will never go back! I accidentally set the Dremel tool down today before it stopped spinning and it spun onto the top of my new phone 😯. I almost had a heart attack. The protector has gouges all the way up the side. Pealed up the edge with drywall dusty fingers, and not a single scratch on the screen itself!!! Better yet, I took the spritz bottle out and spritzed the dusty underside that I had peeled up, wiped it with a lens cleaning cloth, and pressed it back down. Other than the Dremel tool scratches, you can't tell it's been futzed with at all. If you peel the sticky kind up even once, you're out of luck - you have to start over with a new one. Appearance-wise it looks like I don't even have a screensaver on my phone. Texture wise it's the perfect combination of not too slippery and not too sticky. If you're looking for slick as glass or ice, I would say this is slightly more tacky feeling than that. The downside is you have to let it sit undisturbed for 12 hours after applying. We'll, yer SUPPOSED to anyways. I make it about 15 minutes before I'm like "ehh - it's good". I have no patience, so fortunately it's very forgiving My husband has a screen protector that came with this case, and just hovers above the screen. We both hate it so I just bought him one of these. I can't talk about the longevity because I've only had mine for a few weeks or a month now, but so far totally worth it! That's saying a lot given I'm REALLY picky.

Good against scratches; falls short in feel and attraction to fingerprints
I have used other plastic screen protectors and I would go as far to argue that the screen protector pre installed on OnePlus phones is of a better quality than this armor suit. Although they don't tout self heals, they are durable and feel like glass when they are indeed plastic. With Armor suit, you don't get that same feel. It isn't terrible and I have tried worse with another brand that I don't think exist anymore. The screen is responsive and the feel is smooth but... it feels unusual which is the best way to describe it. Using the stylus also feels weird but over time you get used to it. Sometimes it feels like writing on paper but not quite. But it definitely does not beat matte of writing on the glass itself. The screen protector also loves fingerprints. You can easily wipe it off but it is soemthing you would do more frequently especially if your fingers are oily. It isn't terrible but something to consider. Application was painless. And using my Ringke Onyx case it fits well. Overall, it is a solid screen protector with a history of reliability for what it is. I wish they would further innovate on the feel of the screen as well as fingerprint resistance. If you're looking for real basic screen protection, you really can't go wrong with this. However, don't expect this protector to save from impacts if you're clumsy or prone to dropping your phone a lot.

Consistent, tough and worth it
I’ve been using Armorsuit wet‑apply screen protectors for years, and they’ve honestly saved my phones more times than I can count. I drop my phones constantly — on rocks, concrete, and usually from heights that make me wince — and I’ve never had a cracked screen while using this protector. The durability alone makes it worth it. Installation is straightforward as long as you keep the surface wet so you can slide and align it perfectly. Once it’s positioned, it settles smoothly without bubbles, and the kit includes everything you need to get a clean install. I’ve applied these to multiple phones in my household, and everyone here uses Armorsuit now because it just works. The lifetime replacement is ok . Your still get charged shipping. Honestly, I could’ve just bought a new one here for a few dollars more, but the protector performs so well that I didn’t mind. If you’re rough on your phone or just want reliable protection without the hassle of glass protectors, this is the one I kept coming back to and now I don't even try out any others

Used to be the best screen protector around
After getting tired of the brittle tempered glass screen protectors that crack when you sneeze, I opted to give ArmorSuit screen protectors a try. At first, I was enthusiastic fan, using them exclusively over the years for all my family’s devices. Recently, I have had some troubles with the application process. On my last two applications, I ended up with tiny lint bumps or bubbles under the screen, though I don’t understand how. I am a freak about having a lint and dust free environment during application the process. I take painstaking efforts to clean my phone with eye glass cleaner and microfiber cloth then I use a Dust Off can to remove any dust or lint from the phone screen. I also make sure that my surrounding work area is also lint and dust free. Before application there is no lint or dust on the screen, however, when I apply the screen as instructed, I end up with tiny bumps under the screen protector. You can actually see the little fibers under the screen. In addition, the screen protector does not dry clear leaving behind smudge marks that cannot be cleaned away. The defects are definitely located underneath the screen protector. I hate the way it looks. I even went through the hassle of buying another one at additional cost to me, but the end result was the same. On the second purchase, I shook out the microfiber cloth that came in the box and little fibers flew everywhere, which is counterproductive to the application process. In any case, I made sure the screen was clean before applying the screen protector and I still ended up with a bumpy screen. I also had difficulty getting the edges to lay down on my screen. They kept popping up. I am not sure how much protection ArmorSuit offers for the Galaxy S9 as it does not appear to cover the entire screen edge to edge. It’s the edges that need the most protection. Needless to say, I am done with Armor Suit. The end result used to be worth the application hassle, but not anymore.

pack of 2, 1 with imperfections the other one is perfect
So, I purchased this a while back and it held up well for the price and decided to use it on my new phone. Easy to install if you watch the video but there is no way to hold it in place while your squeezing the liquid off and when your squeeze the liquid on the lower part it would go in the charging port so you need a small cloth there to absorb the liquid and block it from going the in charging port. These are not why I put 3 stars on them though. I bought 3 sets of these for different phones. The 1st set I used for my phone and noticed an imperfection. At first I thought it was some dust that got caught while I was installing so I pealed it and tried to get that dust off but it wasn’t dust it was actually an imperfection which looked like a small tear on the protector. Well I guess it was just isolated and I got one bad one. Then for the next two sets I also encountered the same thing. 1 with no imperfection and the other one was perfect. It might not bug other people but I’m kinda OC about it since you can notice it even when the screen is on. Hope they’re not trying to match bad sets with good ones just to get rid of them. You might be lucky and put on the good one first and since it will last you might not get a chance to put on that bad one but you got 1 bad one and a perfect one like my review and we might see if its reoccurring. Still it’s a good screen protector overall.

Wet install takes patience but perfection can be achieved
I've used wet install shields from different brands from time to time over the years. They can be tricky and intimidating, but if you are patient and persistent you can get a perfect install. They actually end up being incredibly forgiving if you don't panic. I knew before I got my S9 that I would be putting a cling style screen protector on since the curved edge renders glass shield useless. While having glass gives me a little more feeling of security (but is it really though?), I am fine with something to mainly protect against scratches. My phone is in a case, I use a popsocket, and I am very careful. Accidents obviously happen, but I've had screens crack with a glass cover and screens come out unscathed from a wet install protector. It's the luck of the draw sometimes. For the installation, watch the video. Get your fingers really clean, I dont even dry them because the lint from the towel is a problem. If you see a speck while you're applying the protector, spray your fingers agsin, pull it up, and gently wipe away the debris. Lay it back down. You can futz with it over and over until you begin to say squeegie it out and let it dry. For the edges, that took a little finessing. I used the cleaning cloth that came with the kit and just kept pressing around the edges, allowing the cloth to soak up the fluid that was pushed out. This is the last step. I sat with my phone for a bit, continually sealing the edges down and getting a clean seal until I was happy they were fully stuck. You cannot see that I have any screen protector on. The only place I can feel it is the top where the cut outs is when I pull down the menu. There is no halo or pixelation or touch screen issues. There is and ultra minor orange peel that I actually consider unnoticeable, and the feel of the screen is only a touch less slippery. It also does a good job keeping fingerprints off.

Do yourself a favor and buy these...
I have to admit that I thought this product was much too good to be true. It was cheap and promised no bubbles, and I was a little desperate. I have gone through no less than six covers for my Galaxy S9 since it was purchased. The first was glass, and I purchased it in store with the phone since it had one of those fancy free replacement policies. I had zero luck with these as the Edge to Edge feature caused it to crack and spiderweb the first week. This happened a couple more times with replacements. I ordered a new set of covers. These covers just wouldn't stay on and popped off regularly (again because of the Edge to Edge feature). I found myself getting ready to leave for a 10 day work trip with no functional screen protector and frustrated with the glass protectors that I had purchased to avoid bubbles and display interruption. I ordered these. Installation intimidating at first but actually was fast and easy, however I was super frustrated because there were a million bubbles. The directions said to leave it alone at least over night and the bubbles would go away over time. I woke up the next morning and was down to about 20 bubbles. I was frustrated with them, but it was better than no screen protector. When I got on the plane the next morning (about 36 hours later), I was down to five bubbles. I could definitely live with that. By the time I landed and got settled into my hotel, I had two bubbles. I was thrilled. Those two bubbles held on for another two days but much to my shock, they are also gone. I have a perfectly clear protector that goes Edge to Edge, does NOT interfere with either my case or touch functionality (if anything, it is more sensitive now), and protects my phone. My phone has now been in my pocket, in my work bag, in the side of my suitcase, in my purse, through security, in four hotel rooms, and has been dropped in sand and on concrete. It has survived two amusement parks, the zoo, and the beach. Still no bubbles and not a scratch or nick in the protector. In short, I'd strongly recommend these. I'm adding them to my work list for possible future purchase. I'm not purchasing them now as a back-up simply because I seriously doubt that I'll need a back-up. I strongly suspect this protector will last the phone.

Wet application fine but lack in quality and gloss/ glare so bad
The pack included 2 screens with all you need for fitting. Works good if you have the S22 Ultra in a case. Easy enough to fit, but not enough liquid for the second screen supplied. However, the first screen had a imperfection in the screen itself. In addition this screen protector is so glossy that its hard to see your screen in sun AND every , every fingerprint, smug is so prominent and visible (much, much more as on my H9 protection screens I had before)- its real bad... you have to clean/ wipe your screen various times a day. Therefore I would not buy again.
