Tomcat Mole Killer - Grub Bait (Box)

Not too sure they did the job I followed the instructions but found I had to resort to an old style mole trap

Doesn’t work not worth the money.

I have history with this product, until a year or so ago. I found it on Amazon so I bought it because it’s the only thing that did the deed it was supposed to do. Not anymore, someone in their vast wisdom has changed the product. Before, it was like a fake fishing worm that you pulled out of the formed container and dropped it into the mole tunnel. Now it’s a slimy mess that you can’t get out of the formed container. Worse yet is it melts in the box if it gets warm, so when you pull it out to use, it not there. It melts and is all over the packet.

I had three or four long tunnels leading to mole hills at various places in my yard and tried smoke bombs, being careful to seal up any exits or leakage areas, but new hills would pop up the next day not far from the originals, suggesting the moles simply walled off the existing tunnel to block the smoke and dug new areas. Finally I tried these, and suddenly all activity stopped. That was last summer. I've purchased a new pack so that I'm ready at the first sign of mole activity this summer, to stop them as soon as they appear and spare my yard all the hills.

They arrived today and it is about 50 degrees but these mole killers are melted in the trays. It looks like they got overheated and poured out of their molds. Now, they don't come out of the mold, they don't hold their shape, and they stick to my latex gloves instead of going into the hole I've punched in the ground. Overall a complete waste of money. Same day and same temperature another brand came and they are intact in their molds, peel out of the molds, hold their shape, and don't stick to my gloves. It is clear to see which is the inferior brand.
