Great alternative to plastic pens
The first time I ordered these Eco Pens I was looking for an alternative to plastic pens because I am trying to cut down on plastic pollution. The pens work well and when the ink runs out. I use pliers to to remove the metal core so I can recycle the paper part. Since then I have reordered two more times to have pens to give out when I table for our Beyond Plastics chapter.

Favorite new pen!
I've been using these pens for a few weeks now and I'm in love! They write smooth, feel nice in my hand, & are dang cute! My daughter and I use them every morning to journal (she's three and can attest to the durable scribbling power!)

Functional pen, but cap is useless
I like that the materials are sustainable and that the pens write as well as ordinary pens. Because the casing and cap are made of paper, it is important to keep them dry, especially the cap, which is thin by design and becomes useless when it starts to dissolve.I don’t like how easily the caps slide off (in my pocket, in my bag, etc) and get lost, leaving the point exposed so that ink marks are inevitable.

To prevent Dum Dum sucker effect
So the title may have gotten your attention because you're wondering what this has to do with a writing utensil. I am a C5 quadriplegic paralyzed from the neck down and my hands do not voluntarily work. I use writing instruments in my mouth to write and I wanted to get a more Earth friendly pin but I soon noticed after having this pen in my mouth the paper starts to fall apart just like a dumb dumb sucker. I'm not surprised because it is paper so I just modified my pen by putting a nitrile finger from a glove around the end piece. The pen is working great! It is very smooth and produces small detailed font! Thank you thank you!
