Ridiculous. Spend all that money and they don't give you the assembly, the screws. Yeah. Most may say that you can easily find the screws elsewhere, but that's besides the point. When you spend $300 on a piece of furniture, you expect 10 cents in screws to be apart of the package!As far as the quality of the table goes, it doesn't even match the stain or appearance of the other Gavelston furniture that I bought from Ashley furniture. The legs alone give off a cheap appearance, first of all, as they are not hallow like the other Gavelston furniture products in this line, let alone the stain and look does not match. Very disappointed. Ashley's Gavelston coffee table matches the Gavelston product line and it is 200 dollars less..._________Update after one week of receiving item________Ashley Furniture, manufacturer, told me to contact Amazon. Talk about horrible customer service. Wow. Then, Amazon said to just return the furniture. That is even more ridiculous! I am not returning a 150 lb item when the box is demolished for 10 cents in screws. What, a, joke.

The table is surprisingly sturdy (it's VERY heavy) and was fairly easy to assemble. I did it by myself. Just beware of the overall weight of the item if you are alone or have a bad back like me. There was a large scrape but it was on the back of the table and that didn't justify returning it. The delivery came earlier than promised. The instructions are OK, but could be better. They give you all of the necessary hardware and the allen wrench to assemble it. It arrives in 6 pieces (top, bottom and 4 legs). Drawers are pre-assembled and already in place.My other comment was that I first saw this table in an Ashley store for $449. I came across it on Amazon for $272. I know many retailers complain that Amazon is killing their brick & mortar stores, but then they allow their products to be sold at Amazon for far less than their own stores. I am not complaining because I got a better deal, but it's interesting nonetheless.

Not their fault shipment had a role.I think it was returned at Amazon then it was sent to me. Packing open and not secure.Hollow door workmanship material.Kept due to it matches other furniture and was able to repair including some money off.Legs solid wood top and bottom are MDF(Cardboard) drawer components are particle board.Save time when ordering check out local stores and make decision.

The entire thing is covered in a plastic coating covering plywood. It looks cheap, is cheaply made and there was a crack in the drawer. We didn’t even take it fully out of the box. Will be returning.

This item had some minor damage but it was on the rear side toward the bottom. So you can’t see it. The damage was caused by the fact that this item had parts that are made of particle board. And Ashley packages their furniture items terribly. These items are much too heavy to consistently survive shipping without getting damaged. But overall I’m happy with the item.

cheap furniture, with no lacquer, off gassing was so horrific. I've bought a few random pieces over time from Ashley furniture and their products are really cheap. They claim they make in the US so a better product, but my family are all general contractors and they have all told me that they use the wrong lacquers and use oil based stains which create a horrible toxicity in your home. Literally have to ozone treat the house to get rid of the smell from this entire collection.

I am beyond frustrated with Ashley Furniture. I ordered this piece twice and it arrived broken both times! I tried ordering it a third time, but it isn't in stock. The reason I am persisting is that I have a matching table for it, otherwise, I wouldn't be getting it!

I really like this table. It's sturdy and looks great with my gray furniture. Arrived mostly assembled, basically just need to put legs on it. Took me about 15 min. Mine had some minor damage but I easily fixed. Amazon customer service was good about making that right.
