Well-rounded is right
This has been my usual pocket tool so, when it was lost on a trip, I bought a new one without hesitating. It is small and light enough to carry, but large enough for real work. The pliers are tough enough for reasonable use and the tips mate so precisely they can sometimes be used as tweezers. Screwdriver tips are well-finished (the Phillips with a rough texture that grips screw heads) and well-chosen. I like the smallest one, which works on many small adjustment screws. The knife is delicate and won’t take abuse, but has a long edge and a point. It is dulls easily, though. The file is, unusually, good enough to work on mild steel, has one single- and one double-cut side and a square slotting edge. There are some small but clever features. A holder for 1/4” driver bits holds them tightly when you squeeze the grips and releases when you open them. A protractor feature seems like it should be useful but I’ve never used it. Some ruler edges that are hard to read. All the tool blades lock, though not all are easy to open.

Great LIGHT DUTY Multitool
I came from using the Leatherman wingman and sidekick, but was curious about what else was out there. I still wanted a mid-size multitool that wasn't too heavy. I did a lot more research than I care to admit, but I finally settled on the SOG PowerAccess.I was intrigued by the compound leverage system, so I decided to give it a try. Overall, I really like this multitool. The belt clip was a big factor for me, however I discovered that this one is quite cheap and I broke it within a few months. This tool is by far a pliers first multitool. The pliers are fantastic, and the compound leverage system is no joke. On the other side the rest of the tools are average to slightly sub par. It is also a light duty multitool and is slightly flimsy. It excells in doing small jobs around the house, but that's about it.If you are looking for a great all-round medium size multitool I would have to recommend the Leatherman sidekick/wingman for all-round quality, but if the pliers are most important to you, I would highly recommend the PowerAccess. After I broke the clip on this one, I went back to the drawing board and started my research all over again. I looked at Leatherman, Gerber, Victorinox and yet i still found my way back to SOG mainly due to the amazing compimd leverage system. The pliers are amazing and what I use most in a multitool. I decided this time to go to the Powerlock and have been very impressed thus far. The Powerlock is a full size multitool which is very evident in the weight. It weighs 9.6oz and is hefty. However, everything that I didn't like about the PowerAccess was fixed in the Powerlock. In Conclusion, the Poweraccess is a great multitool for light-duty activities.

Bought one for my daughter and then another for me!
I wanted to upgrade my daughter's EDC and saw these for $30. Yes, everyone should be carrying some kind of tool in their pocket at all times and daughters more so! A pretty awesome collection of tools. I don't see a mechanical advantage to the pliers but being able to open it up with one hand is a great feature.

Great multitool
I haven't carried a multitool in a while and was a Leatherman user for years, but this one has been holding up great and although on the smaller side for my hands, it fits into pockets and pouches a lot easier.

Great little multi tool, would definitely buy again.
I’ve been interested in this multi tool ever since it was released and finally decided to give it a shot. I’m glad I did since it’s taking over the role of everyday carry now. The pliers are well made and seem like they would stand up well to anything I would possibly use it for.The main factor of choosing this multi tool over others is the size and weight. I have a few Leathermans and a Gerber also but they just don’t quite fit what I’m looking for. Don’t get me wrong, the Leathermans are excellent quality as well but heavier and bulkier in comparison. I started off with the Leatherman OHT and found that it was just too big to comfortably keep in my pocket along with keys, etc. I then purchased the Gerber MP600 since it was on sale and realized it’s just as long as the OHT but the quality was lacking, the tool itself rattles and just doesn’t have a solid feel to it. Since then I’ve purchased the Leatherman Wingman which is what I’ve been using and it’s a good quality tool in a compact size. What interested me in this Sog PowerAccess is the lighter weight along with unique features such as the magnetic hex bit holder and tools accessible from the outside of the handles. So far I’m impressed with it, the quality definitely tops the Gerber and reminds me of how solid the Leatherman feels. It’s the lightest and slimmest of the multi tools I’ve mentioned, features a good set of tools and is pretty well thought out with having the tools accessible from the outside. The only thing I could possibly ask for is having the pliers spring loaded. But other than that I couldn’t be happier.
