Columbia Women's Sandy River Ii Printed Short

I'm 140 lbs, 5'7 and 56 years old! I still have good legs and love these shorts! I was worried that they might be too short, but with the wide short fit, they look great and are comfortable enough to wear all day hiking and swimming. I'm ordering more! I got the medium, 3" length. I love the quick dry light weight fabric and tropical print!

I love these Columbia shorts. I usually always wear a medium in shorts but I had to exchange these to a small and they fit me great (5'5"/138 lbs). I love the fast drying material and the beautiful print. Definitely great for going out on the boat (we live in Florida) or hiking. Beautiful summer shorts for any activity.

I got these because nylon shorts are fashionable this summer season but I didn’t want to pay streetwear prices. I remembered that I liked Columbia stuff and it’s cheaper on Amazon than from actual Columbia. The nylon is really good. I dumped a bottle of water on them and most of it beaded off. The color is really great and goes well with a lot of my tops. They are great for easy casual beach wear but you still look put together. The stitching is well done and the zipper is smooth. I went with the 5 inch inseam for the traditional baggie streetwear look. There is only one downside, they have girl pockets. I have an old iPhone 6 which is pretty small and it doesn’t fit in the back pocket at all and I can squish it in the front pocket but it falls out easily. None of the pockets can comfortably fit a standard mans wallet. I can’t even fit my hands fully in the pockets. The back pocket has a tiny zipper with a tiny pull so I will probably add a toggle just so I can get it open easier. The back pocket also has the smallest drain hole I’ve ever seen so I wouldn’t swim in them. You can fit a few bank cards in there and maybe a key if it’s not on a ring. The girl pockets are the only reason for the 4 stars. There’s enough room for them to be bigger so hopefully Columbia does a re-design.

I love the Sandy River shorts so much, I bought 3 pairs within two weeks.I have a 28 inch waist and weigh 150lbs, and I ordered the size small. As other reviews have mentioned, they can be a bit tough to get over the thighs and butt, but worth the struggle for the fit. I think a medium would be much too big, as I have room in the waistband.The material is nice, a bit thicker than other Sandy River shorts. But they feel much more moisture wicking and I would wear them in the water if needed. I have pairs in both the 3in and 5in inseams, for versatility. The 5in is definitely better for hiking, if you're concerned about thigh chaffing. I use my 3in for just lounging and casual use. I love them both and if I had less self control, I'd be adding more to my wardrobe.

Well I’m never taking these off. Seriously the best shorts ever. You can wear them a little higher on the hips or roll them down once... they’re awesome either way! Great for hiking, the pool, or everyday summer casual. Run true to size! I’m 5’4” and about 120-125 lbs. There’s plenty of space for my booty. I bought 3 pairs!

I was looking for a cheaper alternative to patagonia baggies (which I absolutely love). I was hoping these would be it but they are not. Pockets are decent size but they are sewn in so they aren’t quite as functional bc things still fall out. Additionally, my butt is just a little too big for these to be super comfortable. They are cute. But for comfort and functionality they only get 3 stars.

I love these shorts. I was given a pair in solid black, and have now bought more in other solid colors, and this floral/leaf print. The patterned ones are my favorite, due to the vibrant colors, but any of these shorts are a flattering cut and lightweight but sturdy feeling. They are not too thick for hot weather and dry quickly for beach/pool use.

I have a bunch of utility shorts that I love but these didn’t make the cut. They were really tight across my butt and felt way too much like board shorts. The inside were uncomfortable and so loud when I moved.

Resté 1 punto porque recibí un patrón de tela distinto al que pedí.Resté otro punto porque aunque es un producto de muy buena calidad la tela no estira y a las mujeres que somos curvy no nos ajusta muy bien. No se siente soltura aunque hayamos elegido la talla correcta y las bolsas se abren. Si eres curvy te recomiendo otro modelo de short.

They are very comfortable and cool. I thought they might be too bright but paired with a top matching the pale colour in the pattern, they look amazing!!

Muy comodo y fresco. No se plancha. La tela es como antiderrame, pero se ve muy bien para salir casual, o para estar en casa.

There is absolutely no give in this crepy like recycled plastic shorts ... they might be cute if they had a little give or stretch and there is no lining of any kind I expected more from Columbia I won’t be buying again from Amazon ... seems name brand quality goes out the window when comes through Amazon ... they fit small and no room for error cuz they’re plastic

I bought these shorts and the matching top. The top is a nice light soft material. But these shorts are a stiff cotton like material. Didn’t like it, so I returned it. Kept the top. If these had been the same material, I would have kept them.
