Such a great combo, I am buying another one!
This combo was initially purchased to upgrade a server but I ended up making it my daily driver. Paired with a 3070 TI this thing is a beast. I've enjoyed the setup so much I am buying another one to build the server now.

Combo #2 Purchase!
These are awesome boards. Asus has been my goto mobo for years (we're talkin' back to the days of Win 3.11). Asus makes a great product! This board in conjunction with a Intel I9 rocks. I upgraded home system first. I liked this combo set so much, I upgraded the work system as well because of the performance I was getting with the home system. The only peeve- no serial port header. Yeah, it's old school but I like having one for console cabling without a USB adapter that could have it's COM port changed randomly when unplugged. But hey! It is what it is.

Graphics cards are extremely difficult install with this motherboard
I am a baby to building adult Legos, so fair warning on any of word choices or complex building components. I purchased this mb and the Red Devil AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT graphics card. I had the most DIFFICULT TIME placing the graphics card in the first slot. The clip does not make an audible clip noise when the graphics card slips in and the graphics card refused to be seated. It kept coming back out when I was testing to see if it was clipped in. I found out that the reason why is that the motherboard has it's own heatsink that sits on a chip. The height of the motherboard's heatsink is the EXACT height. I read other reviews that they had to return the motherboard. I know this sounds barbaric but I just took the motherboard out the case sat the motherboard on a sheet of foam core to cushion the bottom, and with both hands pressed evenly and pretty damn firmly. Enough that I got really nervous that I might break it. Then it finally clipped in place. IT WILL NOT MAKE AN AUDIBLE CLIP NOISE ONCE THE GRAPHICS CARD CLIPS IN. That was the most DIFFICULT and horrifying thing as a first time builder. Even guys that were helping me build that are very experienced with this were shocked on how much of a pain this thing was. Just to test to see if it was just my graphics card, the AMD Radeon RX6800 also didn't fit. I've read that this thing gave people serious headache with instillation. Just keep that in mind. Otherwise, no issues on my first build and this is a good combo.

Using it as a streaming vtuber
Update 4/4/25Nothing to report, it's still going strong and making everything work wonderfully near 3 years in.Original reviewI upgraded to this bundle because I had severe bottlenecks occurring. With the prior setup I could stream very well most of the time, but with the added stress factor of vtube studio being very demanding of the cpu, I had to upgrade.I know long term I should go dual pc, but the extra cores in this cpu was worth the jump.So far I am going on 2.5 months in and not even one issue thus far. Immediately went to games where I had bottlenecks really bad and they are nowhere to be found. It is pricy, but if you have the budget this is worth it.

Fastest Computer I have ever had.
Simple to build and easy to understand. For a retired phone guy, this was a breeze. I can't believe how fast it is. 37 seconds to boot.

Motherboard is the worst I've ever seen in 50+ build
I have never had such problems with a motherboard. This motherboard out of the box has 0 software that works. Had me puzzled for many hours after every software option available and hard resetting It. It doesn't come stock with the software to be able to run internet either. This motherboard is unbelievable bad. Don't waste your money I've spent about 9 hours now working with the pre installed software and can finally get the computer to boot although it won't save any of the boot settings

Zero issues
I had no issues with any components and am very happy with the CPU and Motherboard. Runs well over 5.25 GHz when its overclocked and stable.
