It's a real guitar - Only smaller!
Firstly, very responsive customer service. Initially I thought there was a problem. Turned out there wasn't. My mistake. Before I realized my error, I contacted customer service. They responded quickly and constructively. Very nice! Now to the guitar itself. This is a real guitar. Only smaller in length. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the neck width and also the lower string spacing with at the body side is the same standard as a full size guitar. So in addition for this guitar being very suitable for a child with smaller arms, it could actually be useful as a travel guitar for an adult. Without an amplifier it is of course quiet. But the body resonance gives a little bit of volume even when not plugged in. So would be great to practice in a quiet place like a hotel room. Or through a headphone amp. The guitar action (generally defined as the height gap between the fretboard and the strings) is playable as received. I have years of guitar setup experience. I will be making adjustments so that very little finger pressure will be needed over the fretboard. Will be very helpful for my 8-year-old beginner guitar player. I appreciated the full set of accessories. The second set of strings. Even a small Allen wrench for making fine adjustments at the bridge. I have not tried the little amplifier yet. So can't comment. I wouldn't expect much being so small and battery-powered. Also does not have reverb or distortion effects. Only volume in tone controls. However, I did plug the guitar into a normal guitar amplifier. Sounded fine. So the magnetic pickup does the job!

Awesome
This is a WONDERFUL! Starter guitar. I added the photo of My son with it to give a size comparison. He is six and about 4ft3in. We did get a better cord that connects from the guitar to the amp.( the one that came with it is fine but my husband said a better quality one makes a lot of difference) And eventually we will also get a much better amp( he uses my husband good one when they aren’t playing together) the amp that comes with it is good it’s just small it’s about as tall and as long as my iPhone 8plus it’s very small. But also VERY LOUD I was shocked. It would work for someone just starting out well it’s junk just small. It runs off a 9v battery but the sound quality is greatly affected when used with a batty it gets very staticky and in and out; rather then a wall plug with a crisp clear sound and no interference. which we perchesed separately. I do wish it came with the wall power adapter but it does not that really would be my only complaint with this guitar.

Good beginner guitar
Purchased for my son who was 5 at the time. The quality was much nicer than I expected. Its a nice guitar for those just starting. We have had it a year and the last time we had strings replaced it was a headache, 1 kept snapping and they had a hard time tuning it. But it is a beginner guitar and it works great for that. I will say the strap kept slipping off, not good for the guitar to come crashing down. Buy another strap and save yourself the headache. The amp is fine it runs on battery its a nice toy amp. We were gifted an amp so he didn’t use it very long. If you are looking for a guitar to make sure your kid will stick with it before you spend a lot then this is the guitar.

Good quality and price
I bought this guitar for my 2 year old and 8 year old. It’s a great fit for both. You can adjust the straps, which makes it great for both ages. It’s perfect for their first guitar and great entertainment! 🎸

Surprised by the Quality
Bought this for the 3 and 5 year old to share. Perfect size for both. I play the guitar some, and I'm very impressed with the quality of this guitar. It's a real screamer. I actually scared the boys by playing too loud, but it was fun. It holds its tune well, and the tuning machines are smooth. The volume pot is poor quality, scratchy, and jumpy, but it does adjust the volume in a range between silence and mayhem. The amp it comes with is tiny, but surprisingly loud and grungy. I appreciate the extra set of strings, but the one that came on it will probably last years.

Terrible!
I bought this for my children to replace their accustic that I broke. I just wanted to see if they would even try to learn guitar before buying a better quality one. Everything in it is cheaply made beyond excuses. The strings were stretching and changing sound within ten minutes of me trying to test it. The bag is too thin to protect anything inside, and it's awkward to carry. The picks were way too flimsy. The amp just quit working after a total of around 4 hours of use. Their $30 accustic guitar that I accidentally busted by dropping a tool through it still works and sounds better. I wanted to give this a 2 star because 1 star felt mean but honestly, it would easily be a 1.8/10 so I can't justify 2/5. I hope I was just their least lucky person ever and it isn't always this low quality.
