I have always bought Darrels Australian licorice. It is so smooth and it is definitely licorice in taste. No other like it, trust me, I've tried.It's a little on the High side, but I don't buy it all the time.

When it is fresh, this licorice is our favorite. But this time I was sent a box that was 5 months out of date, and the licorice was dried up. I would like the seller to provide a replacement or refund.

Darrell Lea says it all when it's about licorice. True licorice taste. The molasses is definately able to be tasted, along with a hint anise. The flavors mingle into a soft melody of deliciousness. Each bag from every order is of excellent quality with soft, delicous tasting little treats. If you enjoy superior quality licorice definately spoil yourself a little and buy Darrell Lea Licorice.

The batch I purchased in year 2023 was 5 stars (A+). Sadly, this batch I received in year 2024 is ok but was not as soft and not as flavorful as before. It gets 4 stars this time and moved down from A+ to a B.I think I will search for another brand next time.
