Our Guinea Pigs Favorite "Cookie"
Our old lady guinea pig who is 6 1/2 years old and set in her ways, loves these "cookie" treats. She waits for one in the morning and at night. They are her favorite. There was a time when I wasn't able to purchase them because they were out of stock and our piggie was not happy that she was missing her treats. I am assuming they taste really good since she is so obsessed with them.

My Mice's Opinion
Well, my mice hardly show any interest in these, but I still give it five stars because it is a great product. The only reason I'm writing a review is in case other mouse owners are interested in my experience. Bunnies love these and I'm feeding my bag of these to the wild rabbits in an empty field nearby. (Anything my mice don't like I feed to the wild rabbits and squirrels, so it never goes to waste.)Here is the ingredient list:Organic Barley Flour, Organic Alfalfa Meal, Organic Molasses, Organic Carrots, Organic Apples, Organic Rolled Oat Flakes, Organic Canola Oil (naturally preserved with organic sunflower oil, natural mixed tocopherols, lecithin and rosemary extract).I don't know why my mice don't like them. When I gave them each a piece, they just set it down, and looked at me like, "Well, where's our treat??" I've tried several more times, and at the most, they only take a few nibbles. Now, your mice may be different and may like them. (And if not, perhaps you also have local squirrels and rabbits in need that would like them.)I emailed Oxbow to ask what kind of lecithin is used in these biscuits, as the ingredient list just says "lecithin", but I didn't hear back from them. I wanted to know if it was soy lecithin or not. If I do hear back from them, I will update the info here.I have found that my mice love the Wet Noses brand organic dog biscuits for a treat. I break the biscuits into small pieces. They also love Barbara's oatmeal animal crackers...they go really wild over those!

Bunny is happy
This is the brand Vader likes and he’s very annoying if he gets substitutes. These make him binky.

Love that it’s organic, but be careful of the molasses.
I love these because they are organic, and Oxbow is my favorite brand for my rabbit. I used to buy those teddy bear treats (hartz or vitakraft?) at Walmart and my rabbit loved them, but they have so many bad ingredients! So I switched to these. There’s not a ton of ingredients, you know exactly what’s in them. The only thing I don’t like is they contain molasses which isn’t good for rabbits. You can definitely smell the molasses and that’s why they love them, so I get why they would use it. However, I just don’t go over 2 treats a day. I’ve also started making my own treats with no molasses (just plain hay, water, sometimes a bit of carrot) and my rabbits loves them just the same. The bag is small, but for Oxbow I wouldn’t expect it to be cheaper. I’ll still continue to purchase, just probably not as much and use my own treats more.

A healthy treat for my rabbit
Rabbits cannot handle a lot or sweets in their diet. My rabbit gets one and sometimes 2 a day. I think Oxbow makes healthy foods for rabbits.
