Great plug and play WS2812 RGB Full-Colour LED module, especially for learning the basics...
So, over to my partner again who once more begged me to get this.......Another high quality module from pzsmocn/ CQRobot which again is in the form of a simple plug and play unit that just needs to be attached to an Arduino or Raspberry PI via the supplied JST to DuPont female 3-Pin connector. Supplied is a WS2812 type RGB Full-Colour LED with nothing more required apart from the available demo code from the wiki identified in the product description. The module is linkable and apparently a hundred of these modules can be chained together due to their low power requirements. I was very impressed when I tried out the demo code that cycled the LED through a number of very bright colours. There is a lot of potential here - a good starting point for experimenting with this type of LED. There is a wide range range of LED strips and panels available that shares the same 'Ardafruit NeoPixel' library as the demo code and I intend to give these a try.

Color shifting pixel
This neo-pixel module is awesome in emitting a cycle of colours which can then be linked with a greater number of pixel modules for creating a string of colours. On the other hand, programming this module is not as straightforward as other pzsmocn modules. I faced greater difficulty getting the module to stay on one colour and after much fiddling, I question whether this feature is possible. The wiring is as simple as other pzsmocn modules with clear instructions and a demo code provided through the easily accessible manual. This module requires installing the Adafruit neopixel library which is easily found after a quick search through the Arduino library catalogue. Once done, I took some time learning the functions and realised getting this to work was not wholly complicated. The demo code works instantly and shows the module's capacity to emit a wide, vibrant range of colours including yellow, purple and turquoise. However, I sought to find ways to alter the demo code, to simplify the use of this module by sticking to Adafruit's well-explained tutorial. Frustratingly, I failed to understand why Adafruit's originally expressed functional calls would not operate in the same way for this module. I will have to continue playing around with this module to better understand its function, where the point of connection is between the tutorials and how to get one colour to continue showing. In all, this is a high-quality RGB module. Admittedly, the module requires greater effort than expected to understand and customize the code and function to my liking.

Easy to control, bright output.
This little control module is simple to set up and control. Follow the Wiki link to the product page and there are wiring diagrams and code examples. It uses the Adafruit_NeoPixel.h library to set brightness and RGB levels, which enables it to show any colour. Response is fast and you can even daisy chain them together if you want to add more.Construction is good with no dry joints, etc., which can be a problem on some cheaper Chinese circuits.

limited use but good intro to RGB leds
This isn't really much beyond a single RGB led and the wires to connect it, however to be fair the price reflects that. You can add LEDs on via the JST connector on the board if you wish. The libraries are the standard adafruit ones and the wiki linked tells you how to use it, so theres not much of a learning curve if you already know how to use arduino IDE etc.No issues with it.

This is a cascadable RGB full-color single lamp bead module. only needs one signal pin, and the RGB LED strip constructed by cascading it has extremely low power consumption. This function can cascade more than 100 modules, the total length can reach tens of meters, but the power requirement does not exceed 5V 2A."✅ Beispiel-Code ist im Wiki von pzsmocn zu finden. Einfach anschließen, Sketch kopieren, hochladen, fertig! Die Ansteuerung erfolgt über die AdaFruit NeoPixel Bibliothek.Zusammenfassend bin ich vollkommen zufrieden mit dem FULL RGB Modul und gebe daher 5 Sterne und eine Empfehlung :)--------------------------------------------------------------------✅POSITIV | 💢NEGATIV | ⚪NEUTRAL | ❌KO-Kriterium | ❕❗ Hinweis
