I teach swimming and this product keeps my skin free of dry itchy skin and the scent of chlorine

I bought this soap for use in the gym after long swims in a chlorinated pool. The soap does what the makers say it will do: it removes chlorine odor. However, it has an extraordinary after effect. I have suffered for years from "jock itch," an itch that a lot of active men also suffer from. The soap has removed the itch -- at least for a 24-48 hour period. If I travel out of town and forget the soap, then I start itching again. But if I use it on a regular basis, NO MORE JOCK ITCH!!

This soap saved my skin! I work as a children’s swim instructor, and despite the fact I’ve swam in chlorined pools my whole life, due to the high chlorine levels of this specific pool, I ended up with a “rash”. The itch was so irritating it became unbearably painful, no product (no cortizone, no hydrocortisone 1% ointment, no aloe Vera, no Shea butter, no Vaseline, no lotion, nor natural essential oils) could ease the itch or pain. It wasn’t a rash, it wasn’t hives, it was a chemical burn! (TMI) the chemical burn was all over my inner and outer thighs, all around my armpits, the inside of my elbows, and the back of my knee, and I started getting patches on my arms and legs and on my tummy. It wasn’t until I start using this soap, EVERYTIME I got out of the pool and showered, that my “rash” has gotten EXTREMELY better (results may vary BUT my “rash” is gone). I used pre-swimming lotions by derma swim and a couple other brands before finding this product, but THIS IS THE ONLY THING THAT WORKED for me. I have never written a review because I never think anything is worth the time but THIS IS SO WORTH IT! This has now become a staple in my swim after care routine, I’ll definitely be buying this product a million times over. Buy it. Buy it NOW!

This soap does exactly what it says it does, it neutralizes that nasty chlorine smell on your skin aftter swimming or enjoying the hot tub. I swim and then use our hot tub daily and I was suffering from the damage and smell of chlorine's effect on my skin. First off is the smell, it lingers, for a long time after you swim and if you are lucky enough to get it out of your (long) hair then you keep getting whiffs of it on your skin throughout the day, no matter how much body wash you use. Then after you resolve yourself with the smell, there is the damaging effect of dryness. This is the worst, because as a woman dry skin causes unevenness/patchiness, razor burn, wrinkles/premature aging, can ruin your sunless tan and so on.I pack this Summer Solutions bar in a travel soap box, with a chlorine shampoo & conditioner duo and wash up right after the pool and hot tub and find that my skin doesn't smell at all after. This soap bar had a light scent when I had originally taken it out of the box, but after a few uses and using on my skin I cannot detect an odor at all. I find the lack of a scent (or a very very light scent) great because I can layer on my favorite lotions, body sprays and perfumes as I choose and they don't compete with another product.This purchase was super easy, and this soap is a perfect solution for the problem I purchased it for. I would buy again.

Soap was helpful, but price was a rip-off. I didn't mind so much being overcharged for the bar of soap itself. But being charged $4 more for the shipping...and charging the same shipping rate PER BAR is a total ripoff. Someone in this company has poor business judgement. Seller obviously believes their product is so necessary buyers will pay any price for it. They're wrong. Suggestion I read on the internet works even better. Buy a $10 bottle of vitamin C crystals and a bar of peppermint soap from Trader Joes. The crystals can be added to pint size spray bottle and works better than the soap. A jar of vitamin C crystals will last forever and ends up being ridiculously cheaper than this overpriced soap. Soap is good but with absolutely no incentive to buy in bulk it's not $8-$9 dollars a bar good.

A few reasons I chose this over other products. Firstly, I wanted a combo shampoo/conditioner/body wash product like my kids have. Unfortunately, my kids’ version is a little too mild for me. I couldn’t find a cheap combo that was worth it for me, so i ended up buying a shampoo only product, which meant i needed a body wash/soap product. I decided to go for this bar because I’m looking forward to our two week long trip where I’m going to have to bring this, and a bar is easier/better to pack than another liquid product. Bonus: this makes my skin feel fresh and is gentle enough to use on my face. It lathers on fine and does the job i needed it to. I’d still put lotion on after, but I think it does a better job than just my regular body wash in terms of post pool.

I was showering regularly after laps in the pool. At night the chlorine smell, which seems to adhere to the skin for a long time, was waking me up. This soap really neutralized the chlorine. And it’s barely scented (I prefer unscented soaps), and it does soften my skin.

I like this soap has a pleasant smell and gives a good deep clean
