Bosch Cordless Grass Trimmer EasyGrassCut 18V-230

The strimmer arrived in a small box (surprising), and the stalk easily clips together in two places. The battery supplied charged reasonably quickly and the strimmer is reasonably light. Works well & battery easy to remove & replace. Also compatible with the slightly larger 18v batteries (which I already have) if you want a longer run time.

Great quality product at a reasonable price. Speedy delivery. Light and wasy to use.

I am teetering on the edge between 3 and 4 stars. It is hard to give it 3 when it does what it says and they tell you straight out it runs on one 18v battery. I am just used to a homebase model that has two batteries and 2 strings with blade option. My problem is that my batteries aren't charging anymore and I can't find replacements for it. So I decided to buy a new grass trimmer that has available batteries. I also wanted to choose a well known brand of grass trimmers so here I am. It takes a bit longer to cut through my grass with the Bosch. but to be fair my yard is overgrown. I do like the smaller design and that you don't have to keep fiddling with it or changing heads. It is very straightforward. It is also lightweight I actually enjoy using grass trimmers rather than a lawnmower because they are so much lighter. So I had fun with this. I just never should have let my grass get this tall lol.

Brilliant. Bought this for the allotment and works great. Easy to assemble. The power is enough.

Good trimmer, it's not as strong as electric but I can't complain about that, grass trimmer without cable is much better

Good and bad. I was replacing a Flymo corded strimmer I’d used for decades. This one is MUCH lighter and so much easier to move about. Very easy to connect and take off battery. Battery life excellent. HOWEVER - and this is huge - there’s no automatic line feed. Thought I was going crazy - I hadn’t even thought to check the spec for this, as it’s so basic (and important). When the line breaks, you often have to stop, turn the strimmer upside down (you should, of course, take the battery off before this too), remove the reel cap, refresh the line through the hole, replace the cap, turn machine right way up, AND remember to hold it away from you and turn your head away as you restart it (the machine whirs off surplus line). I can’t return it now and I DO like the way it works… but bloody hell, Bosch!

J'avais déjà un chargeur Bosch et c'est heureux. Le chargeur livré n'est pas adapté au réseau Français. Pour le reste, un très bon produit.

We had an old strimmer that was driving us mad having to constantly refeed the line out. I bought this on offer and it's a dream! No cord to lug around, the string auto feeds so you don't need to worry about it too. The great thing though is that the battery is part of the all power alliance, so shared with all the green range of Bosch garden and power tools as well as Flymo, so no need for multiple chargers! Just note if you have a medium to large garden you won't get it all done in a single pass unless you have 2 batteries, unless you are just edging the grass, however charging the battery is very fast. All in all highly recommended.

Came so quick, easy to assemble. Light to use and love the fact it has a battery pack so no wired to trip up on. Cut into corners and sides of walls a treat. Did my whole lawn using only this (small garden) was happy with price too

Wenn ich in Deutschland ein Bosch Rasentrimmer bestelle , gehe ich davon aus ,dass das Akkuladegerät in unserer Steckdose passt aber leider nicht, müsste mir noch einen Adapter zulegen, keine gute Lösung....

BOSCH quality tool. Works as advertised. I love it and would but it again.
