Funky coloured, fast and effective
The media could not be loaded. I ordered this de-icer because I love the purple colour but it's not only a better colour than others, it's a much better quality product too.You get two bottles in the pack along with a handy credit card sized scraper. The small scraper is surprisingly effective, although it obviously isn't as quick as a full-sized scraper, so it's worth keeping it in your wallet or purse if you have room for it. The de-icer claims to remove ice instantly and although that wasn't the case in my experience, I could definitely see the ice melting as soon as the de-icer hit it. I didn't even have to exert much force to remove the stubborn ice and cleared a sample of my windscreen in just under 2 minutes.Funky coloured, fast and very effective, this is a very good de-icer. It's great if you are pushed for time but let's face it, none of us want to be outside in the cold clearing our windscreen for longer than we need to. It's a little on the pricey side at the current price of £8.99 per bottle so it's well worth treating yourself to the double pack with scraper at £11.99.

Great value
Have just used the last of these, they got me through two Winters and worked a treat - don't just spray it though, helps if you use a cloth to distribute.

Long lasting but not as good as cans
Arrived well packaged in a suitably sized box.The bottles themselves are bundled together with rubber bands and come in a plastic zip-lok bag.Usually I have a tin of aerosol de-icer in the car. That stuff never lets me down.I have a spray bottle of Dial de-icer that I picked up while in B&Q "just in case" and these are my comparison products. So frost hit a couple of days back - not thick ice but sufficient to warrant scraping.I did the windscreen with Dial and the rear screen with KZEN.Both performed similarly. Both required a lot of spraying. The ice was clearly melting, just not very fast.Aerosols are almost instant.I also found both bottles tended to dribble a fair bit which made the task messier than it had any right to be.The KZEN bottle provided a better spray than the Dial and covered a slightly larger area with each squeeze of the trigger. But as you have to lather the windscreen in the stuff to get the ice to melt with any speed it isn't a deciding factor. So it works, just not very quickly, and it can be messy with the dribbles. The KZEN stuff looks funky in neon purple but I honestly wouldn't buy it for the colour. It could be clear or jet black as far as I am concerned as long as it shifts ice, I don't care what it looks like. For me it would then be down purely to price.Dial brand is £2.I'm not sure what KZEN will retail at but I wouldn't want to pay more that £5 for the two bottles (unless they soup it up to perform faster)I must add (almost forgot) that it comes with a credit card sized scraper. Isn't that admitting defeat?

Very fast!
I used this de-icer spray last year and I was surprised how quick and effective it is. I waited few seconds after spraying my windshield to check if it works fast and it defrosted within seconds. I am here almost a year later to order this set of 2 de-icers for the incoming winter. Super esy to use and effective!Highly recommended!Thank you for reading my review. I hope that you found it helpful.

2 Spays and hand scraper, easy to use.
Two bottles of 500ml de-icer, with trigger spray heads. Both bottles worked straight out of the bag, and gave a good wide spray area, but if it’s windy, you will have to get close to the glass, otherwise it just gets blown away in the wind. Each one also comes with a trigger lock, so it cannot accidentally spray. They also give you a small scrapper, and rubber squeegee to speed up the removal of sheet ice and wipe away the water. The bottle can be kept in the car, because the fluid stays effective down to -15deg, that way you always have a bottle handy, if you’re away from home.We don’t have the temperatures at the moment where we’d need to use this, but I will update the review as soon as the iced up windscreens happen and I get to use it.Update, first frost of the year, and it worked really fast. The trigger could be a bit easier to pull, and it would be better if it had a jet mode on the spray, to spray along the wipers, but I’m still very happy with it.

Not very good!
The trigger mechanism is very very stiff!

Good de-icer spray with effective hand scraper tool
At the time of my review, I was unable to see the price of this item so can’t comment on value for money but here’s what I think of the product itself. You get two spray bottles of de-icer along with an effective scraper tool. The liquid is purple in colour and the trigger spray nozzle works well with enough of a range to reach the middle of my car windscreen. The de-icer works quickly to melt the ice, and combined with the scraper, it makes short work of my heavily frosted windscreen that we’ve had a couple of times this week.I think it’s great to have in the car for times when you’re in a rush and don’t have time to wait for the heater to defrost the windscreen. It’s also good for de-icing wing mirrors.
