I got this to hold a 15.6" monitor for my MiSTer. It works perfectly in both portrait and landscape modes. Ensure you extend it to the full position so the stand doesn't drop lower. In the beginning, it did drift lower in portrait mode, but once I extended it to its limit it hasn't dropped down any. This works perfectly, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a stand for their monitor.

This is a great stand and works pretty well for my Vilva Monitor (it was Amazon's recommended monitor stand). I did notice that the fully expanded stand cannot hold up to the weight of my monitor unless I brace it with some tape as shown in the picture. Does this make it slightly less travel friendly? Maybe, but I really don't need to travel with it so it works just fine as is.

Got this to sit a portable monitor on. Needed something I could adjust the height on. Worked just as I intended. The base is heavy, doesn’t slide and is compact enough for easy travel.

I use this for my Surface when I work from the office rather than my home office. Easy enough to leave it there, next to my monitors and docking station. This way I can just plug my surface in and go. Helps me make the most of multiple monitors without losing the cursor so often.

I purchased this to hold a big portable monitor. I thought this might be too small, and it isn’t that big, but the base is super sturdy and it holds my monitor flawlessly.
