Q: How do you program this to your vehicle?

remove the circuit board from the old one that you are replacing and put that one(that used to work) into the new one and close it up. This does not come with the circuit board, hence there's nothing to program

Q: Where can i get the inside guts for the shell if i want it for an extra fob?

I would assume the only way to get them would be to buy an OEM key fob from a dealer so it would come programmed for your vehicle.

Q: Will this work for our 2016 Chevrolet 2500 HD diesel ?

If yours looks the same , it will work. I u tubed how to so I didn't brake the old one. An take out the circuit board of your old one and place it in the new case. Worked like it should. Hop this helps you.

No, the key fob is simply a shell. There is no programming involved. I found it pretty easy to do, and it looks good, in my opinion.
