Great! More affordable, more secure, and equally functional to other brands!
These release buttons--listed on Amazon as "(2 Pack) Dark Red Soft Metal Shutter Release Button Brass for Fujifilm Fuji ... Camera 11mm Concave 10mm Convex Surface" and sold by VKO Photography--are the most secure release buttons I've come across yet. Whether you use the concave or convex button, they make it much easier to find the shutter release by feel (without having to remove your eye from the viewfinder or fumble around as much by touch to locate the button).Since they come equipped with little rubber O-rings, these buttons also stay in place far better than any of the other brands I've tried over the years (Neewer, etc.). That's important because most of these screw-in style shutter release buttons are notorious for gradually working their way loose and getting lost. That is why I also recommend that you don't spend much on any such button. Fortunately, at $8, this two-pack is also one of the most affordable options on Amazon ($4 per button), and it gives you the opportunity to decide if the convex or concave button feels or looks better on your particular camera. While I really can't say for sure if they are actually brass as advertised, they do seem plenty durable for their purpose and the glossy painted surface seems to have held up well with no sign of fading or chipping after thousands of shots. The coating isn't as perfectly smooth as some of the slightly more expensive and slightly more nicely machined releases, but they do look nice and right at home on top of my Fuji X-T2 camera. (The concave button looks better with the overall aesthetic of the camera than the convex button does, for some reason. So that's the one I currently use.) Since other brands of buttons did eventually fall off my camera, I've developed a habit of routinely checking the button for tightness. Thus far, I've never found the button to have loosened at all. It seems to stay put nicely, which I attribute to the effectiveness of the O-ring providing additional "friction" to hold the button securely and prevent it from gradually turning and loosening. Based on this experience, I would definitely buy these again if I had need of more. They are more affordable, equally functional, and more secure than similar products I've tried which cost twice as much.[UPDATE 6-29-2017: After extensive use, this shutter release button has never once loosened on my Fuji X-T2 camera. I am genuinely impressed at how well the O-ring and/or design of the threads has managed to keep it in place, as I've used several other brands and never been able to go this long without it becoming loose and, usually, getting lost entirely. I have even stopped checking the tightness obsessively, as after hundreds of checks and a LOT of usage, it just stays in place snugly like it should, no blue locktite or other "hack" required. Hooray! I definitely recommend these as not only the cheapest, but now, the most secure shutter release buttons I've ever tried!]

Stayed On. High Quality.
I bought this for my X-E3 and I just came back from a 10 day trip to France. The one I ordered is in black and came with one concave and one convex soft releases in the box. I used the concave one. It comes with a washer and fits perfectly. It didn't fall off once (I frequently take my camera in an out of the bag and not with utmost care (a couple of times my dials got changed when my camera went in and out of my padded bag). I remembered to check for tightness about 2 times throughout my trip, but I am not sure it did anything as it was never loose. It survived with no noticeable blemishes, cracks etc. I haven't tried other soft releases but I am thinking that if you're looking here, you're looking for something that is simple, works, looks good, stays on, and doesn't start cracking or pealing after first use. For these purposes this is excellent.

A beautiful and functional addition to my new XT2!
Perfect. Fits great on my Fujifilm XT2 and looks amazing. Love that it came with both the Convex and Concave versions. They also included a rubber washer to make sure it stays snug on the shutter release button. Feels great when taking pictures, much better than having none at all. It's made well and made out of solid brass. The price is excellent too. I might have to buy some other ones just for fun!

Nice, clean looking shutter release
I got my shutter release today and was very happy to see how well it fit. The O-ring however did not fit with the shutter release, but with my X-T30ii it didn't seem like it needed it. Hopefully it's threaded tightly enough that I won't need to rebuy one

Get some locktite
I think every one of this trigger buttons have the same complaint. They can loosen, turn out and fall off. This one sticks in really tight and it took a month before the first time it fell off. I immediately bought some screw glue and it's been solid for months now.Really nice buttons, good finish, good color.

The screw-in post is quite short. I could not attach it without removing the rubber gasket.
I purchased this item for a Fujifilm X-T5 to replace a similar one on a Fujifilm camera I sold. When I tried to screw the new button to the shutter release, the screw portion would not engage the shutter release threads until I removed the rubber gasket. It seems that the threaded portion of the button should be slightly longer. Still usable but not as designed.

Improved ergonomics
I bought these shutter buttons for my X-T3. This brand comes with o-rings that some other brands don’t include. It will give the shutter button a better fit and less of a chance to fall off!I like that it include a convex and a concave button because I was unsure which one I’d prefer. It turns out the concave one is really nice. It makes your shutter button a little more stable or it could be placebo, who knows. What I do know is that it looks stylish compared to the naked shutter button.

Looks great on my Canon A-1!
Matches may red Lambo! See pic. Haha! I thought i would receive the same but I didn’t look carefully. One is concave and one is convex. It’s no big deal and they both look great. They come with two rubber washers each and I think using two if you have a large gap between the shutter release and the bottom of this button. Overall it looks like great quality and very good value for the price! PS I got the other one for my canon QL17 III rangefinder because it is too tall. Not a fault of this button, just the design of my camera.
