Q: Does this dc jack work perfectly in dell inspiron 15 3000 series laptop?

I’m glad I got a 2 pk, because the first one broke when I was installing it (got a refund for it), the second one was installed OK, and it seemed to work, but was not charging the battery. I don’t know if that was a problem with the jack or something else, but we had to use the computer plugged in from that point on.
