SO CUTE! Buy a size or two up, runs small.
I’m 5’4 111lbs and I bought a size medium so that it’s a little roomy and not skin tight. It’s a perfect fit for me. I have small shoulders but I am a thin muscular build. I purchased the dark syrup color and it is just so damn gorgeous!! A work of art! Thin yet warm. The only thing is it arrived with a few snags and a lot of strings hanging off the neckline and around the seams. I trimmed all of the threads and it doesn’t seem like they will fray further. As far as the snag I trimmed the fuzz away and saw a small spot that snagged somehow on the packaging or something so I sort of massaged it out and it’s not too noticeable after trimming away a bunch of fuzzy threads. I will keep it even though I think this item had already been opened and returned. It’s a bit disappointing since this was $90 but the actual product is such great quality that I will let this one slide. It’s a great company and this shirt is just soooo comfortable and warm and so perfect for backpacking and beautiful enough to wear on holidays with the fam or even to work! Some of my other Kari Traa items look more like long John’s so they don’t look quite as like a sweater where I can casually wear out and about like this one. I think this item was well worth the $90 and will hopefully last me many years! I would definitely size up. In the zip up fleece Kari Traa I wear an XS, but when it comes to these merino wool fitted shirts I size up to a medium just in case I accidentally shrink it and to have some extra room. To tell you the truth I could have sized up to a Large but I prefer the medium. The size small I had tried on as well. It fit, but if it shrunk at all it would be skin tight. I am a very small boned individual with a 34 chest. If you are bigger boned or chested I would maybe go two sizes up since that’s basically what I did. In most sizes in other brands I wear an XS.

comfortable
I have not used this item other than to try it on as it'll be for later this fall/winter. It is very attractive, seems to be of good quality, comfortable and fit me the way I expected it to.

very cute but itchy
Wanted to love this, but it was too itchy for me. A friend has a few of these and they look great and work fine for her, but I am too sentitive.

Very comfortable and pretty
This top is very comfortable and fits as I expected it to. I usually wear a size M top so that’s what I ordered in this. I used it for sleeping on a recent camping trip and I was extremely comfortable. I will also be adding the pants some time in the future.

Love these base layers!
These base layers are great quality, soft, true to size, and cut perfectly for women. I’m so happy to find 100% merino wool “long underwear” that’s so much cuter than just traditional solid tops and pants. The heavy weight tops and bottoms fit well under mid-layers and are comfortable.

Damaged after wearing twice :(
I bought this as a splurge in the spring in anticipation for the winter, and it is a beautiful top/base layer. Now that winter is in full swing I've worn it twice and washed it once (delicates, hang dry) and I already noticed the stitching is coming off in a pretty obvious way. I'm just disappointed because it was not cheap and I do really like it :(I could see this happening after a prolonged time of normal use, but this is too soon for what I paid for this.
