Great value for the wattage and dimmable feature
Dimmer switch is smooth and works nicely with excellent luminance control. Amperage works for short to long strings of LED lights.

Works for controlling dew heater
I have a Celestron brand dew heater for 8” SCT that is unregulated, but they sell a separate regulator which is pretty expensive. I tested this instead and it works well. If there is active dew on the corrector plate (front glass) I set it to high. Otherwise for simple dew prevention, I set it to about medium or low, depending on the level of dew risk.

Perfect quick replacement!
Perfect 1:1 fit for my lightstrip powersupply.Looks neater than the orginals and fit perfectly.The actual plug portion appears more robust!

Work on LED and halogen bulbs
I tried it with 7.5 watt LED bulbs and 20 watt halogen bulbs. It works fine with both including being able to dim them. I also liked being able to connect the wires to the adapter using the recessed set screws instead of having to solder and heat shrink the connections.

Pay Attention to total Amps drawn from strip. This unit supports 3a. (not recommended for 6a strip)
Amazon recommended this item for a 6a strip and the plugs got hot. It's my fault for not checking, but the "AI" should know better.

Inexpensive and works well
Item arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. The dimmer works great and is a nice addition to my home office. I had some leftover LED light strip left over from a previous project in my wife's craft room, so I wanted to enhance part of my office desk area.The dimmer dial is a little stiffer than I would've liked, but it works well, and I would absolutely buy this again. This is a great product, and I highly recommend it.
