Mirror Man Skull
The design is pretty ingenious and the presentation in the book is very good quality. The directions could be better but after a couple missteps, I figured it out.I created a cool mirror man skull by gluing mylar on the outside of the mask before assembling. Cut the mylar bigger than the cardboard template. Spray the glue onto the cardboard. I used Scotch Super 77 for the spray glue. Be sure to keep the mylar away from the spray in a clean area or the mylar will have glue spots on it which are impossible to remove. Once the glue dries, use an Exacto knife to trim the mylar to the template. I used a hot glue gun to assemble the mask. I'm not sure I would do that again. Lots of burnt fingers and glue lines that get on the mylar. The directions recommend double back tape. I would probably try that if I did it again. The key thing I didn't understand on assembling the mask was the lines for ridges and valleys for bending the cardboard. The perspective is based on looking at the inside of the mask. I was thinking it was on the outside and was struggling on why things didn't look right until I figured out that.

what a cool idea. Comes with thin paper Sugar-Skull sheets you can cut out and paste to it. I dont think it would look too good though. They should offer different designs already on the heavy cardboard.

far too big
Looks quite nice, but far too big. I got it for a kid. But for an adult, it is also too big.
