Pure PaleoCleanse Plus 14 Day Detox Program, 28 Count

First let me address the complaints about taste. It’s true that it isn’t great tasting but it isn’t terrible either. Take all that noise with a grain of salt. Second, usage. You put the powder in a glass or jar and add a small amount of liquid (1 ounce — that’s two tablespoons) and stir it until you have a smooth paste. Then add more liquid and it’s fine, no lumps. I tried hot water and/or shaking and/or blending. Nah. Make a paste and then add more liquid. Works like a charm. Hunger. Now this surprised me. I was not hungry. I had a shake a few hours after I got up and another a few hours before bedtime. Otherwise I had lean meats and mixed greens and olive oil. Easily stayed around 1200 calories, no difficulty with cravings or hunger. Expect to get bored with the food - but relieved by how easy the whole thing is. Stamina. Those little pills, man, they will make you feel good. I felt excellent - alert, reasonably energetic, but not buzzy. In fact I felt calmer than usual. Water: I had to drink a ton of water (they say 1/2 ounce H2O per pound) and that was weird. Yep, it’s a cleanse. Not a harsh cleanse but I was drinking twice as much water as usual. Bleh. Indigestion: I have acid reflux so I kept using my antacid as needed. I didn’t notice that things changed - not better, not worse. Summary: I feel lighter, better and pleased. I’ll definitely do this again. It’s the gateway drug to a ketogenic diet, if you’re going there. They know what they’re doing with the supplements. For me, with a sensitive stomach and a certain amount of misery about my weight and cravings, this was overall a very pleasant surprise. It is uncommon to find a way to reset and recharge - this worked for me.

Ok. So I read all these reviews about the taste. Wow But I took the chance and ordered the strawberry vanilla. Here’s the secret sauce on how to mix this and get a great tasting almost perfect smoothie. I ordered a 20oz protein shake mixer with the barbell inside. Second I use a body armor sports drink. 12oz strawberry/vanilla flavor. I pour half of the drink into the shaker and add the powder. Shake like crazy. Then add the rest of the sports drink. Then shake again. Simple and delicious. Perfect smoothie. As for whatever smell people are talking about. I’m not getting it. We are doing this for a reason. Sometimes you have to suck it up buttercup. 😁

Unless you want to slurp this overly sweet, caramel-like, rotten-flavored swill while pinching your onset get it down - buy the vegetarian version. It actually tastes like ground up moldy bones. Not that I know. But yikes. The product works great, but you have to drink it first.

It never fails to help me reset and get back on track with healthy, clean eating. The taste is not bad in my opinion. But I also mix the shake with half oat milk and coconut milk along with 1/2 cup berries to enhance the flavor. I don’t have issues with lumpiness because I shake & press the bag before putting it in the blender to take care of any issues with settlement. After 2 weeks of this cleanse, I feel better, I look better, my clothes are looser and my overall wellbeing is greatly improved. Thank you for making such a fantastic product!!!

I loved the flavor and texture of this protein powder; IMO it's the best paleo protein powder I've tried. I have severe GI problems due to Lyme and coinfections (Bartonella), one being abdominal distention from extreme bloat. I started this detox after my gut wouldn't keep food/water/supplements down for a week straight. A few days into the detox, I could keep everything down just fine, and had much less acid reflux. By the end of the 14 days, I had lost 7 lbs of bloat weight, and my belly was about back to normal size w/ no bloating. It's a very gentle cleanse but definitely effective; I didn't have any crazy detox symptoms except for caffeine-withdrawal migraines. This review is coming from someone that has tried so many things that have not helped, and I'm so glad this made a difference. I'll be buying this again because these 14-days were the first time in years my gut has felt ok.

I actually did a 28 day detox. I lost 19 lbs! It is a great way to start a clean diet program. I believe I was successful on this detox because of the additions to the protein powder. Here is my recipe: I added one cup of full fat organic coconut milk, one cup of water, the juice of an organic lemon or lime, 2 handfuls of organic baby spinach or power green mix, 1/2 cup frozen blueberries and 1/2 cup frozen strawberries, a tablespoon of chia seeds and I opened the supplements and dumped them into the Vitamix blender. I blended that together and then I added the protein powder at the end to reduce the frothiness. Total Calories is about 300. I had one for breakfast, a decent lunch with protein and vegetables and then another smoothie for dinner. I never felt deprived because I was still able to eat real whole food for lunch. I highly recommend it! Good Luck!

Excellent product but shipped strawberry instead of chocolate:(

I've never eaten something so gross, willingly. The description says "pleasant tasting". Not even close! It smells like a combination of throw up and rotten meat. Because it was so expensive, I keep choking it down. I'm 4 days in, and I'm not sure I'm going to last through the whole 14. I'm going to try my best, though. No idea on the efficacy of the actual product, so I'm really hoping it's doing something good. If you haven't hit the purchase button yet, I strongly recommend you do not do it! I eat pretty much anything, but every "shake" makes me gag and nearly throw up. Doing it in the Ninja is awful. So foamy you have to get down twice as much. Mixing it leaves chunks you end up having to swallow down. The best I've found so far is a ball shaker. Someone else recommended that. You end up with some foam and some chunks, so it's like a devil's compromise.
