Don't be discouraged. It's pretty straight forward.
Ok. So I've read numerous reviews on this product and I learned a wealth of information before installing....To start, I own a 2020 Ram Quad Cab. I was looking for something to keep the rain out but allow cross ventilation into the truck without the moisture. I searched through a number of options before selling on this one, mainly for the price. The reviews I read had the same complaint that most other customers had. The tape wouldn't stick and the guards were difficult to install if not impossible. Well I'm here to quash all of that!It took me maybe 15 minutes to assess based on the complaints and read the directions. There is a trick to the install but it's far from impossible. As you can see in the pictures, if you insert the tab behind the door pillar trim first then install the so that you're as close as can be to the window frame itself, YOU'RE GOLDEN!Another tip:Make sure the rear of the guard is flush to the window pillar on the back of the windows frame. Then gently insert the rest of the guard. After ensuring you have it placed where you want it, hold the guard in place while rolling up the window. Leave the window rolled up for at least two hours. That will allow the tape to form a secure bond onto the window channel which is needed to hold the guard in place. It's best if you install in warmer temperatures.Another thing to avoid is placing the guard between the window channel gasket as opposed to behind it. You WANT the guard to contact the window when it's in the closed position.I hope this helps anyone who is in the fence about this particular model.HAPPY SHOPPING!!!UPDATE 5/08/20:I've driven the truck on the highway and I'm not getting wind noise in the cabin. AVS, GREAT JOB!!!!

Don't make it more complex than it is
The install was kinda horrid for me at first because I thought it went into into a different part of the channel. It does not go in between the molding. I was trying to feed it into this all the way across then I get to the other side and my only option is to cut my factory trim to get it to work. (which i wasn't going to do). It just sticks to the inside of the molding. This might of been obvious for others but I got these used for 18 bucks and it didn't come with instructions. All you have to do is simply bend the plastic about 30 degrees or so and line up one side and slowly move it along the edge to the other side. (I tried this at first and when I went to roll up the window it hit the vent shade, so thats when I tried putting it on wrong and in the channel it doesn't go in).All you have to do is pull out a bit on the vent shade while you push the window up till its all the way up and then leave it that way for the next several days if possible. The first one I put on took me over 90 minutes the other 3 took under 5 minutes.Since they are on its been great. They are nice and work like they should. I have had them on for a few weeks now and put about 500 miles on them up to 80 mph and been through 6 or so car washes and they arn't coming off.
