Great product
I usually prefer caffeine mints, and sometimes caffeine gum, both when I either don’t have time for coffee, or it’s too hot for non iced coffee. Also knowing that long times in traffic and knowing stopping for more coffee are always concerns. My favorite caffeine supplement is from another company and I don’t blame them specifically for the prices going up, as everything is up, and I’m sure there costs to manufacture are much higher lately. As much as I love that other product, I am not paying almost as much for a caffeine tablet as a cup of real coffee! Obviously making coffee, or espresso, at home beats stopping at the local coffee shop. Beats it financially, maybe not taste and options, but if I am going to blow $5 plus for a coffee (sadly what it costs here) I better enjoy it! Hot, or iced, non fat or low fat milk, and sugar free flavor. Anyway, when time is not going to allow frivolous coffee shop stops, these are probably the best value for caffeine supplements. The value is extremely competitive, the caffeine amount is perfect, as the 100 mg. size is very close (actually a tiny bit stronger) than a strong cup of coffee, usually estimated at about 80 mgs. These work fast and are easy to take a few extra on the road. Considering that there is not many things worse (maybe needing a bathroom stop qualifies) than being stuck in traffic late in the afternoon with no coffee shops around, or easily accessible, and these are absolutely perfect. Just remember, unlike mints, or gum, you do need a liquid to swallow them. But if you are frequently stuck in late day traffic, I assume that you already know this. Enjoy!

Good pills
I got the Nutricost Caffeine Pills (100 mg, 500 capsules) and they’re exactly what you’d expect. The pills are a solid, consistent dose of caffeine that helps boost energy and focus without any weird additives. They’re easy to take, and with 500 capsules you get a lot of value. Nothing fancy, but if you want a straightforward caffeine supplement at a good price, these are a reliable choice.

**“Caffeine in a Capsule”**
These little caffeine pills are like tiny wake‑up ninjas in a jar, Perfect for mornings when my brain says, “Nope, we’re not going far.” One 100mg capsule and suddenly I’m alert, alive, and bright— Ready to blend my smoothie, clean the house, or basically fight for my right to be upright. They’re simple, effective, and way easier than chugging a giant brew, And with 250 capsules, I won’t run out anytime soon too. If you need a clean, quick boost without the coffee shop bill, These little power pellets definitely fit the bill.

Works well, but has a diuretic effect
These caffeine pills work well and give me a nice boost of energy without jitters. The only issue is that they make me urinate more often, similar to how regular coffee affects me. It’s not a deal-breaker (i did not know it), but it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, they’re effective and easy to take.

Bad news for the Big Energy Drink Cartel
These are great and handy to have. Much more cost effective than keeping your fridge stocked with Redbulls and Monster. If you have these on hand you can avoid having to reach for that afternoon energy drink.

Cost-effective, easy, reliable caffiene dose!
These are great. Dosed at 100mg for variable use. Good price per unit. Easier than powder or crushing pills. I take one of these about 5am when I get up and by 5:30 I'm ready to work out. I take two with me if I'm out on the golf course and starting to fade. Grabbing one in the afternoon is just enough to keep me awake until I need to get to bed. People who write negative reviews about caffeine are using these in addition to other things with lots of sugar. None of the negative effects I've seen mentioned are attributable to caffeine. I'm at 750 of these lifetime over years and no issues. And 100mg is still an effective dose even though I drink coffee quite a bit too. There is nothing to worry about with these at all. Stay off the sugar people.

Kaged Caffeine is way smoother! Switched back.
I tried two Nutricost 100mg caffeine pills today to compare it to the feeling I get when I take two Kaged 100mg caffeine pills (B0C7RCV9K3). Normally I only take one pill a day but I wanted to be able to tell the difference between the two. Oh my God… Kaged is way smoother! It’s such a beautiful, gentle pickup. On the other hand, Nutricost felt like I had a pack of wild horses in my chest for hours! 😂 Even though Kaged is 5x more expensive (Kaged is 15 cents a pill, Nutricost is 3 cents a pill), 15 cents for “a cup of coffee” is still a great deal. I asked Grok why there was such a big difference in the experience of it and it said because Kaged is a natural extract and it’s released more slowly whereas Nutricost is synthetic and it hits you all at once. Grok: The jittery feeling from Nutricost's caffeine pills (which use synthetic caffeine anhydrous) versus the smoother experience from Kaged's PurCaf (organic caffeine from green coffee beans) largely comes down to differences in how they're sourced, processed, and absorbed by the body. While both deliver the same core molecule—caffeine—their effects can vary due to absorption rates, purity, and the presence (or absence) of natural plant compounds. Here's a breakdown based on available insights: 1. **Absorption Speed and Energy Delivery** - Synthetic caffeine anhydrous, like in Nutricost, is a highly concentrated, lab-produced form that's designed for rapid absorption through the digestive system. This leads to a quick spike in blood caffeine levels, which can feel like an intense, immediate energy rush—but it often results in side effects like jitters, nervousness, or an elevated heart rate, especially if you're sensitive to caffeine or take it on an empty stomach. - In contrast, PurCaf organic caffeine is extracted from green coffee beans using a water-based process, which allows for a more gradual absorption. This creates a steadier, sustained release of energy without the abrupt peaks, making it feel smoother and less likely to cause those shaky sensations. 2. **Accompanying Compounds and Buffering Effects** - Natural sources like PurCaf retain beneficial plant compounds, such as chlorogenic acids (antioxidants found in green coffee beans), vitamins, and other methylxanthines. These act as natural "buffers," slowing down caffeine's release and modulating its impact on the nervous system. This can promote better mental clarity, focus, and a more balanced energy profile, reducing the risk of jitters or post-boost crashes. - Synthetic anhydrous caffeine is stripped of these extras during manufacturing (often derived from chemicals like urea), so it's essentially pure caffeine hitting your system all at once. Without those modulating elements, it's more prone to causing overstimulation or uneven effects. 3. **Production and Purity Factors** - PurCaf's organic, chemical-free extraction from non-GMO green coffee beans avoids potential impurities or residues from pesticides, which some users report contributes to a "cleaner" feel overall. This aligns with reports that organic caffeine is gentler, particularly for people prone to anxiety or side effects from synthetic versions. - Synthetic forms can sometimes include trace manufacturing byproducts, though high-quality ones like Nutricost's are generally pure. Still, the lack of natural synergy often leads to a harsher experience for some. Individual factors like your tolerance, dosage, hydration, and whether you eat with it also play a role—e.g., starting with half a dose can help mitigate jitters from either. If this persists or concerns you, consulting a doctor is a good idea, as caffeine sensitivity varies widely. Overall, if smoothness is key, sticking with natural options like PurCaf tends to be better for avoiding that wired feeling.

Cost effective and it works! I take one a day at work so these will last me well over a year. The capsule is nice and small with no added junk. Amazing to cut down on coffee, tea, and energy drinks!

I use these caffeine capsules before going to the gym, and they’ve made a real difference in my routine. I like that they contain only caffeine with no extra ingredients or surprises. They give me a solid boost in energy and help me stay focused during my workouts, especially on days when I feel a bit tired. It is also convenient not having to rely on coffee or energy drinks. The price is very reasonable for the amount you get, and I have not noticed any weird side effects. If you want a simple and affordable way to get some extra energy, especially before exercise, I recommend giving these a try.
