Wizards only... some Muggles are fine.
The media could not be loaded. Wizards will be able to cast the spells we’ve learned at Hogwarts and make these candles float. Muggles will have a bit of trouble figuring it out, but if they want to know the secret it will cost them 9 3/4.These candles are great. Will be great to have up during Christmas & Halloween time. They were easy to put together and hang. The flicker is a nice touch and they do light the hallway enough for us to see (third picture/not filtered). There was no remote control with this set, but the timer does what it’s suppose to. The candles have been turning on every night at 6pm and turning off at midnight.

Great candles with battery saving timer
I purchased 24 of these to replace similar ones that I had been using for years on our house as Christmas decorations. The old ones I used didn't have a timer and would go through 2 sets of batteries during the holiday season (they are too high on the roof to turn off/on each day). The new ones have a 6h timer which worked out fantastic. After 30 days they are still going strong and look beautiful on the first set of batteries. A huge improvement. I paired these with Window Candle Holder Suction Cups (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XZFSTZJ) and they fit perfectly. Not a single one fell off the windows despite being left outside for a month in some extreme temperature variations. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase. The only thing to keep in mind is you need to turn them on at the same time of day you want them to turn on each subsequent day. So some advanced planning is required.

These candles did NOT meet my expectation.
I use candles in my windows all year long. I have been using "remote" operated candles but prefer the "built in timer" so I ordered these candles! I purchased top of the line AA batteries to ensure a good look in the windows. They were all set the first night and I put them in the windows. Some flickered, a couple remained on all the time, a couple did not come on for a long time and then they would just go off. Any candle in a window where an A/C vent was below it would go off every time the Air Conditioner came on??I am still looking for candles with "built in timers" but these definitely were NOT even close to what I expected. I rarely give negative feedback on anything but these candles were so disappointing :(

They work, IF.....
Needed a fake candle for a ship-wreck-salvaged gimbled candle holder. Didn't need TWELVE, but wifey's finding uses for them. The 6 hr timer is atomic-clock accurate! They're nice! BUT you need to go into each one, placing a fine penknife blade behind the negative battery contact, and levering the contact all the way to the opposite side of the barrel. That will put the perfect bend in the contact, allowing it to actually make contact, & work!Edit: the whole contact slides right up & out! So you can just bend it that way, but just a little, or it will interfere with the bulb portion screwing in.Also, i made holders using scrap plastic, a 2-3/8" hole saw, that i hot glued a disposable water bottle neck to. Free materials, just a little time. 😄

Nice little candles,
I love these candles!! I tuck the candles in dark spots or corners to bring a little personality to the shadows. Nice warm color.I will say, I wish the manufacturers would make a candle that works like these… Remote control etc. look like it has burnt down to about two or 3 inches. That wld also make them seem more real.
