Mindfold Sleeping Mask

I’ve been using a sleep mask for at least 26 years. I started back in the late nineties working overnight shifts at 911 in Charlotte county Florida. I tried numerous brands but the mindfold is the best for TOTAL DARKNESS. with proper adjustment you can turn daytime into nighttime anytime!! I retired in 2013 but still use my Mindfold sleep mask every night even though I no longer need to. Turns out it’s great aid for anyone who just wants a good nights sleep!

This Mindfold mask works well to keep out ambient light in the room, which is important for pineal gland activation while meditating. I purchased one for an online seminar, as my husband said he didn't need a pair. He used some sleeping eye shades - for the first half of the seminar. I let him try them for the second half - and he took them over. Not only did he use them for the next two days of the seminar, he has taken them off somewhere, and isn't giving them back to me! I signed us up for another seminar, one day this time, and he pulled them out from somewhere and used them. They are comfortable, look good, and block out the light well. I'm going to have to order myself another pair before our next meditation seminar, obviously. They arrived quickly and in great condition, and have a nice plastic zipping storage bag.

I use this mask when I practice mind sight. It does a good job blocking out light. It is also pretty comfortable to wear and it adjusts size easily.

Really great product, snug fit, good quality

This sleep mask performs brilliantly. It is undoubtedly the best I've ever had and I've tried a fair variety. No other sleep mask I've tried does such a thorough job of blocking light, which is important to me, as I can't sleep with any light. It's comfortable and adjustable and you can actually open your eyes with it on and see no light. Furthermore, the foam cups that fit over your eyes prevent any pressure on your eyes since nothing is actually touching them. This mask is great for any time you need to block out all light for a decent sleep but is especially great for travel and getting sleep on a long-distance flight.

There is a HARD plastic outer layer to this mask, which is actually how it blocks out the light so well. The only problem is, this HARD plast layer RUBS against your nose and face when you wear it!! It irritates your face so bad, that it makes the actual act of "sleeping" virtually impossible (or in my case, completely impossible). i do not recommend this mask at all. It gets 1 star because, although it DOES block out the light, it DOES NOT allow the wearer to sleep with it on. Thus, it is useless.

I have bought 4-5 of these over the years and recommend them to everyone. When properly adjusted they make everything pitch dark and when you open your eyes your lashes and lids don't touch the mask at all. Comfortable and stays on all night. I sleep with it every night. Great for when your spouse wants to read or look at a screen and you want to sleep. Perfect for travel (I always take it on the airplane) and for when you want to sleep in. Mine have worn out from use (the foam starts to break down), but they aren't that costly so it's not a big deal to replace. Twice my dog has chewed mine up, so now I have a hook where the dog can't get it).

The mask is quite comfortable on the face however the straps are really uncomfortable on the ears as the velcro is not covered up well.

Full light proof , literally you can't see any single light But It would be better If they cover the foam with kind of fabric or any cloth rather than leave it only sponge I think it will be more comfortable and protected for long term
