The Meccaline Sheet Music Folder isn’t just for music. It’s also fabulous to put the pages from your script of a show that you’re doing and rehearsing as well. The pages stay in place, you can do all of your notes which include you’re blocking and stage direction in. And, as in any production direction changes in dialogue and of course music, so this folder makes it so easy to take the pages out and replace them with the new script pages. You don’t have to punch any holes in the paper or use a cumbersome binder which makes it difficult to hold. Meccaline Folder can be completely folded in half because it’s on a spiral spine which makes it so easy to hold with one hand. I love working with us so much that I bought a few extra to give some to my cast mates. And believe me, they were happy to get them and said it’s the best gift they’ve gotten it a long time.

This is probably the most surprisingly helpful purchase I have made. I play the trombone with the community band where I live and have to be able to locate and write notes on the music I receive. This notebook makes it easy to store and organize your music and still be able to mark the pages. It works better than just putting a bunch of sheets in a pocket folder. The pages remain flat and smooth which keeps the music easy to read. I have now purchased another one of these.

I had repurchased this three different times. It holds so much paper and keeps everything in place neatly. It makes carrying music sheet on the go easy and organized.

This folder holds a lot of music, and the clever sleeves for the music pages are surprisingly effective. They hold the music in place but allow the user to write directly on the music because only the top and bottom of each page is held in place. Of course to write on the reverse side of a page one must remove the page from its sleeve, but this is accomplished easily and quickly: Just tuck the top and bottom of the page into the corresponding part of the page protectors. It would be helpful to have pockets inside the front and back covers, also a place to store one’s ubiquitous pencil. Last but not least, it would be fantastic if the cover were not quite as smooth. It is constantly sliding away from me when placed in my lap during rehearsals.

I didn't realize how useful this was until I got one. But if you play in a fast paced music group of any kind this is such a game changer. Of course it's awesome not having the glare, obstructing your view but being able to make adjustments to my paper without taking it out of the protector is so amazing. This notebook is very compact and sleek. Overall this is a wonderful item and I don't regret it! I hope this helps you make a decision!

I highly recommend this product for HS and MS music directors! I have taught band and orchestra for over 8 years and this is my new favorite teacher tool. I put copies of all my scores for each enseble into the sleeves and each score in one place that doesn't fall out of an oversized directors folder and I can still write notes and cues on the page with ease. The pages are easy to turn and I have used it at concerts and really like it. The slips at the top and bottom are a little fragile so be careful not to accidentally rip them on the sides (I ripped two and just needed to take my time and be careful). I even had a HS student ask about the new book and she has ordered one for herself as well. Great resource for the (un)organized music director.

Let’s first start off with the great quality of this. You get a metal spine which helps with support and you get premium plastic in the inside for you note covers. The design is also really great as you can write on the paper without taking the notes out. The thing doesn’t weight heavy at all as you might think because there are 40 sheets. The functionality is also great you can use it for any notes and is super easy to add in the papers.

I've tired several methods to organize and use sheet music for practice and playing. Often I want to make marks on the sheet music for fingering, adding or striking out notes, etc. as well as metronome beat and instruments/settings. Some folders I have used in the past were solid plastic pages with an opening at the top to insert sheet music. However, the Meccaline folder allows you to position sheet music that is held by plastic bands at the top and bottom of the page, leaving most of the sheet music page open for markings and annotations. I often do these in different colors, depending on what I want to emphasize. So now, while learning a song, I can have it in a folder with a spiral binding that organized and is easy to use plus I'm able to add markings as I learn the song. Mu wife appreciated that I can avoid having extraneous sheet music laying around my digital piano. For future music folder, I would like to see thicker, more sturdy plastic bands at top/bottom to hold the sheet music, however, I can report that I have not had any issues with workmanship (e.g., no tearing or falling apart).
