Super Sharp and Long Lasting
I just checked and Amazon shows I've made 270 orders in the last six months. Which means I end up cutting up and recycling boatloads of cardboard boxes, including those heavy duty Amazon Pantry boxes. Our recycling is picked up once every two weeks and more often than not the bin is full to the top. With neatly cut up boxes. On top of that, I do lots of home projects. I'm always hacking away with my box cutter on some project involving drywall, grout, wiring, scraping or who knows what. I've bought over 150 box cutter blades in the past couple of years. Which comes to these Fiskars Pro blades. Last year, I decided to buy a Fiskar's box cutter. Not sure why. But when I started using it, I was super impressed with the sharpness and long life of the blade. It didn't take long before I bought a pack of these and swapped them into all my box cutters. I always figured a blade was a blade (although I've always bought name brand blades). But I was wrong. These Fiskars Pro blades start sharp and stay sharp far longer than any other ones I've tried. For a test this week, I used one blade to cut up all the boxes and packaging from a washer and dryer set along with two weeks of Amazon boxes. Over an hour of cutting up cardboard so it would stack neatly in my recycling bin. The blade seems just as sharp now as when I started. I love a razor sharp blade, and these are the best by a mile. By the way, the 50 pack does come with a clever dispenser...a flip lever smoothly dispenses one blade at at time.

Good blades without doubt... but do they live up to the 24x claim?
I rate Fiskars as a brand, but I think the 24X longer lasting claim is a bit subjective. For a Stanley type blade these come very sharp out of the box and they do keep an edge a little longer than some other blades I have used and I wouldn’t say they are the best I’ve used, although it’s very very close. Would I buy again? If they are stocked in the UK and thus less expensive than they are currently then yes.
