These are Genuis - Well Worth $8.99
I live in an old place and I have a number of loose outlets where plugs easily fall out. It's been bugging me for years, but until I started randomly searching the Internet recently, I didn't even know there was a solution to this problem. So I order the Snug Plug and these little plastic things arrive in a small envelope. I look at them and think, "huh?" But I follow the pictures on the package - bend them and stick them in the outlet and then I plug my stuff back in. And my problem is solved and no more loose outlets. Genius.Someone complained that these are just flimsy plastic and you could DIY and make your own plastic thingamajigs. I guess you could if you are the type that like arts and crafts projects. For the price of a coffee and pastry, I would just rather order them on Amazon.

Exactly as described
I recently moved out and I rented out a room. Unfortunately the room had very loose outlets so the plugs were not stable and that really bugged me. I was trying to find a solution and I came across this product. I looked at the reviews and I thought I'd give it a try. It actually works!Although they are a little pricey for what they are, they are a great alternative.I would recommend :)On another note, I can see how they can easily break. It's a plastic material and they have creases to where you need to fold them. So if you fold them too much it will break.

Total waste of time and complete garbage
Basically this is a thin piece of plastic strip that you bend at three corners and slide into the area of an outlet where you have your prongs from the plug. It’s suppose to make the area tighter where the plug goes in to make it more snug and keep the plug from popping out.The idea seems simple and almost genius. The problem is the plastic strips is so thick the plug can’t fit! They are useless!!!I pushed the plus so hard into the wall, I was afraid I was going to break the outlet. The item is so cheap, it isn’t worth the energy to return which is kind of how they get you.The other amazing part is that it’s just this thin piece of plastic. I love to see the outrageous profit margin on these!!! Omg!!!

Worked on most sockets
Last time we stayed at my in-law's house, my flat-iron plug just kept falling out of the sockets, over & over. It was frustrating to me in just one day, I couldn't imagine how they've been dealing with it for so long so I got these for them. I tried them out & they made a world of difference on SOME of the outlets but not all (I guess some were just too far gone to fix easily). These are just little pieces of plastic cut into the right shape, nothing more & I assume if some of the pieces were thicker, it would work better but I'm just guessing - for all I know, they wouldn't work at all if they were but we don't mess around with electricity so we didn't try to double them up or anything. All in all, these were simple to use & did the trick on probably 75% of the sockets so I would buy again if I had to.

Really???? $10 for these. What a joke
These work fairly well but seem cheap and you only get 8 for $10. These are literally just thin plastic strips that have a crease. Only thing I was blown away with was the price compared to what I got. If you want quick, temporary fix to loose plugs then these will do but I guarantee you that you are going to be dumbfounded to see what you get for $10

They do work, but expensive and a pain.
They do the job they are supposed to, however, they were a pain to put in my outlets. I’m not sure if it’s just mine or if it’s happened to other people but they kept wanting to bend in the wrong spot while I was trying to insert them. They were somewhat hard to put in because of this. But once they were in, they seem to work just fine. I have no issues with the plugs falling out, the plastic doesn’t seem to be melting and the power supply isn’t cut off by the plastic at all.The price point seems like a little much considering its $9 for 8 little tiny pieces of plastic but they work so, oh well I guess.

works for me!
Okay, at first finding that I am getting 8 little plastic things for $4 seemed like a rip-off. BUT, it works! I no longer struggle with the plug falling out of the outlet, or turning off my hair dryer every 2 minutes, or the vacuum unplugs while I'm vacuuming. So it does what it is supposed to. It is sometimes hard to get the plug out after I finished, but to me, the trade off is worth it. I would definitely pay $4 again to be able to iron, vacuum, blow dry my hair without constant electrical interruptions and shut offs.

Will FIX the problem, despite what some may say...
I know the creators of Snug Plug and leaving a review to dispel a few bad reviews from a competitor. For all consumers, this product has been engineered to be safe and highly effective in solving the very common loose wall outlet issue. The material is fire rated safe. Snug Plug is designed to be thin to fit into an outlet (characterized by competitor as flimsy) and flexible for repeated use and stowing purposes.Yes, packaging is on the frugal side and this is because they allocated their funds towards R&D to create a highly effective product for consumers. If you to try a Snug Plug you'll be more than satisfied and if not they will refund your money in full. Hope this clears things up!
