how high is the part above the top of the rod?

Looks like the distance from the top of the rod to the top of the tag would be, roughly, 1.25 inches. That assumes your rod is small enough to got between those two notches on the top right and left. In my use, the top of the tags rides high enough above the hangers on the rod to be clearly visible. (Couldn’t shoot a video of this - my closet’s pretty dark!

Will these fit old fashion wood clothing rods?

I have standard wood hanging rods and they fit no problem. We got the rods and end hangers at Home Depot to create extra storage, if that helps with sizing.

I have a rectangular clothes bar. What is the width and height of the inner rectangular space that the rod goes through?

The space where the rod goes thru is more of a circle but it has a rectangle and square within the circle. It's hard to explain. The circle measures 1 3/8 inches wide. Within the circle there is a rectangular cut-out that measures 1/2 inch wide by 1 3/4 inches long (top to bottom). There is also a square cut-out area that measures 1 1/8 inches square.

Foam Board not plastic!!

Really bad quality, made from foam board and break as soon as you put on a rail, this isn the hard plastic clothing dividers that would usually be used in a studio setting.
