Package arrived later than expected
The product is great, the price was fair market price and the company shipped the product right away. FedEx dropped the ball and from what I was told by FedEx, the package sat in a holding center for 4 days therefore missing the expected arrival date. Makes it difficult to time scheduling to be home to receive my fairly expensive package. (There have been a lot of thefts in the neighborhood). But having said that, I got the unit and it is great. I like the overall sound quality of the Zoom B3 much better, (and especially... the wah effects and the choruses in the B3 were much more pronounced, warm and versatile..) but this unit does so much more the tradeoff is worth it. The looper section is absolutely awesome. If you play to a drum loop, it quantizes the end of the clip to make sure it aligns with the guide loop. Nice!! The fact that I can A/B between my electric and my Kydd upright is great. That alone is why I had to get the unit. What I had to go through before was a pain. Yo!!! The Tuner is THE BOMB!! Great big, stage visible, locking Tuner!! The touchscreen and the versatility of the editing of effects and effects chains is awesome...being able to move slots around with just a swipe makes it easy to see how one effect affects the next and you can tweak the sounds to your particular instrument. I have patches customized & tweaked for my Hi Tech BassMods bass, for my FrankenBerry bass which is heavier and darker sounding, for my old Yamaha Fretless.. It's great. The various modes are also great. I basically use pedalboard mode for live and if I feel creative, i might use a patch here and there depending on the gig...but mostly I have dedicated pedals I use over and over in different sets of patches. 4 pedals at a time. Makes it easy to navigate during the gig. The unit looks just beautiful. Streamlined, Graphite looking. Colorful on the dark stage floor. Zoom & Carlitos Del Puerto did a fantastic job in the design of this unit. I hope they do a firmware update that brings the sound level up to match the B3 and incorporates some of its algorithms. There are some effects in the B3 I just cannot duplicate in the B6 (no matter how much I tweak), that I will surely miss. I relyed on some of those sounds. My name is André Berry. I play bass for David Sanborn, The Brothers Johnson, Eric Marienthal, Chris Standring, The Jazz Junkies, Agape Spiritual Center and Nikki Harris. Over the years I have played for Dave Koz, Warren Hill, Wayman Tisdale, Rick Braun, Peter White, Jeff Golub, Kirk Whalum and for The Smooth Jazz Cruise. If you are a bassist, the B6 will up your game for sure. It's a pro's tool with a lot of useful practicality and its a ton of fun! Great job Carlitos! Right on Zoom. Peace & Blessings.

Worth it for the gigging musician!
Good sounds! Super convenient selection of DI’s, perfect for a versatile band if you don’t want to be carrying around an Amp. Cons: Plastic construction (durable if you care for it) and the screen has some lag but not a deal breaker. The power supply cable is cheap and short, but nothing that can’t be replaced! It doesn’t have a lot of processing power so you may have to create a few different patches using the Memory Bank feature. I’m not heavy on effects so please take that into account. I’ve used it for gigs with no issues, as well as recording in the studio and it worked pretty decently! I use an Ibanez Boutique and Seinheiser in ears with it for gigs and I can say it was well worth the money!

Amazing tool
My bass playing will improve; no doubt about it! Easy to use. There is a lot of space to create new pedal presets without erasing the ones by default. There's a lot of options, and the sound is amazing. Now I'm ready to blow everybody's mind.

Dozens of pedals in one
This is an entire pedal board! It has a tuner, amp simulations, and a zillion pedals built in. Yes, it is a little complex to use, but that's because it offers so many options. My one complaint is that it doesn't provide more information on the presets.

Great sounds. Fun to use!
It's packed with tons of interesting sounds. Though most player probably won't use more than a few. It's relatively straightforward to program, once you get the hang of the system. the touchscreen makes manipulating patches much easier. It's an amazing unit, which packs together a ton of processing and effects power into one awesome unit. I've had it for weeks and am only scratching the surface of what it can do.

Awesome BASS Pedalboard!
This thing gives you pretty much everything you could want! Other than to add a longer effects chain, I can find no reason to add any other pedals, although the option is available. It's great for "quiet" practice as you can attached headphones directly to it and no external cabinet is required, which makes your practice area extremely flexible. All you need is an outlet as there is no internal battery (that would have been nice). Adding and using an expression pedal is super easy (once you figure it out) and the online instruction manual is very thorough and easy to navigate (helped me figure out the expression pedal thing). I love that it saves your last settings on shutdown and allows you to create your own configurations and save them for future call back. Navigating the menus is pretty easy and straight forward and the touchscreen is bright with large print that is easy to read from 6' or more away. The only thing that is kind of a drag is that you can't really control the "Play with Rhythm" feature with just your foot. You have to bend down and use the touchscreen or knobs to make any adjustments outside of tempo adjustments. That has a split use footswitch that also allows you to access the tuner function. You have to use your hands to make any other adjustments or even just to start and stop playback. Only when you are employing the looper function in conjunction with the Play with Rhythm do you get start and stop functionality. I believe you may have some expanded control if you buy the Bluetooth adaptor and have an iPhone or iPad, but I did not purchase as I have an Android device. It would be nice if Zoom made an Android compatible interface, maybe in the future. All said, the ZOOM B6 pretty much takes care of all of your BASS related needs. Did I mention that it has connectivity to any standard PA system? For the money and functionality, it is hard to beat. Way to go ZOOM!

I like that it is made with the bassist in mind.
I used this for playing Bass at church. I love the set up it allows me to have. I never could understand how to use the other ones. But this being touch scene is so easy to use and I love the sound I get .
