250ml Beaker

This works really well on my magnetic stirrer, and it's a great volume (storage) to work with. Easy to clean, easy to use daily, wish the volume markers were on both sides of the container. I really like the glass, and it seems to hold well with use, no scratches and is still clear.

This beaker exceeded my expectations! It is light weight, durable, easy to clean and the price can't be beat. Applying extreme heat and chemicals for several hours has not affected the borosilicate glass clarity and remains easily to clean no matter what harsh chemicals are used in it, always looking brand new. The fonts and graduations remain clear and in place through several uses. This a quality product that I would recommend to anyone doing science experiments or lab work that involves high heat.

I use low-form beakers for my sourdough starter and lavains. While I prefer the smaller compact size of PYREX’s 250 ml, the Karter seems to be of decent quality. Maybe a bit thinner than PYREX, but for my use it is fine.

Very beautiful glassware! The dimensions stated on the produce page were accurate. You can’t beat this for the price! Glass is thick, and doesn’t feel super fragile, which is always a concern of mine when buying lab glass. I haven’t tested it with extreme temperatures, so you may want to check other reviews for that (I only need this for room temp collection, and measurements) The writing on the glass is very big, and clear! I don’t need to strain my eyes to see it, even with dim lighting. I took some liquid measurements and they seemed to be accurate enough. I didn’t notice any glaring inaccuracies. So all of my concerns have been put to rest. The only regret I have is that I didn’t buy the 6 piece set for $4 more. I didn’t see that deal until after I placed my order. I will definitely be returning for more in the near future.

I had previously bought a set of beakers which has been really nice, but while washing it I dropped it into my sink and instantly broke the 1000ml beaker from my set so I ordered this as a replacement. The new 1000 ml beaker is of slightly better quality than the one in the set. It seems thicker and more durable although I’m trying very hard not break this one I did already drop it in my sink once and it survived unlike the earlier one. Works well for large batch formulation projects which is what I use mine for. Has survived a couple sessions of heating up and then placing in the freezer already and going strong! Nice looking beaker clearly marked measurement lines and amounts, with large opening for ease of cleaning. Great value for the money!
