These beads are so much fun! I did have to purchase sturdier shoelaces because the ones that come with it are very thin and my 3 yr old grandson had a hard time threading them through the holes. It's funny, I didn't think of them as more than lacing beads but he got creative. He put them on the table and lined them line up by color and shape.Sturdy hard plastic. The bag they come in is perfect to tuck them away when he is done playing. I suggest supervision because they are small enough to be a choking hazard. Overall a great toy!

It's what the parents wanted their child to have for her birthday to enhance her fine motor skills and it went down a treat.

My daughter is 2 and we wanted her to practice beading. This is a great product BUT I didn't realize how small the beads were. I wish they were a bit larger.
