Q: What ingredients are included in the "natural flavors"? I understand its a proprietary blend and dont need the amounts, but ingredients are important.

The label on the bottle has no further details...just "natural flavors," which I would guess would come from corn...but that is totally a guess. You might try contacting the makers. I completely agree with you about the ingredients being important. I have over 20 things I can't eat without getting very sick! I don't get sick from this Corn Extract.

Q: This isn't very keto friendly when it's 1g carb for only a tsp- does the organic cane alcohol cancel that carb? What's the amount of sugar alcohol?

1tsp goes into a whole recipe. 1 carb pet tsp. 0 sugar alcohol. Don't know if it cancles carb.

Hi, thank you for the question. Yes, extracts are a great addition to soups or chowders, though it is always best to use the extract during the cooking process of them. Depending on the amount of soup you are making we always recommend to start by using just a few drops of our sweet corn extract because it is highly concentrated. Best, Kitgen

Q: How long does it last? What's the expiration date vs when you bought it?

I suppose the simple answer is, it depends on how much you use and how often you use it. I personally reorder a bottle every 4 months. I use a teaspoon in a batch of almond flour cornbread muffins, which I make frequently. As far as an expiration date, I don't see one on the bottle. This really doesn't concern me because it is an extract which contains some small amount of alcohol, which has a forever shelf life. I have 12 year old whiskey. Hope this answers your question.
