You I use a medium thickness in picks, what would you recommend in these?

I bought the heaviest nylon in this style of pick and upon playing the piick seem to bend and give a little bit against the string especially the thicker gauge strings. If you are looking for a pick that doesn't feel like it bends while playing which I really don't care for that feeling when I'm playing. I quickly went out and bought the Dunlap big stubby and little stubby guitar picks in 1 mm 2 mm and 3 mm. If you are used to using medium gauge pics I would recommend the 1 mm big stubby and a little stubby. I hope that helps and makes sense.

Are the 1.5mm Dunlop Maxgrips a good pick for a beginning jazz acoustic guitar student?

These picks will work for acoustic playing. As far as jazz playing I prefer the Dunlop jazz III or the stubby 2 or 3mm.

Agarre increíble!

Muy buenas púas, como siempre hace Dunlop. He usado varias de esta marca, de diferentes calibres, tanto Tortex como Gator, pero nunca con max grip y he de decir que me han sorprendido. Donde otras empiezan a resbalar con el sudor, estas se mantienen firmes. El calibre 1.14 es ideal para riffs más metaleros. Totalmente recomendables.

Deze pick is niet te zacht, niet te hard maar precies goed. Vroeger speelde ik met een hele dikke harde pick, maar dat koste mij snaren. Vandaar dat deze dunnere pick voor meer speelplezier zorgt.
