This is a scam. Formatted at 10TB but it is NOT!
I am in IT and purchased this think it it too good to be true. There are no 10TB Nvme drives. This drive is formatted 10TB but it is not. They must have altered the formatting code in the controller. If you try to reformat the drive it fails with a hardware error. If you try to copy files of any large size it fails. I copied a 1gb file and it failed. Copying any smaller files and the speed is in the 10Kbps transfer. This is ridiculously slow. I reported this as a scam and Amazon removed the blue item I bought but left the other colors. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS! If you look at the cost of a 1TB NVME OR m.2 data drive, they are in the 100$ range. 4tb are about 600$. Thank goodness for easy returns. AVOID!!!

Defective and may be a scam.
Intermittently allowed transfer of files. They would disappear off the drive. Many files just errored out. Looked at reviews on the site and they are for car lights not 10 TB external drive. Like my son said, if it’s too good to be true…

$99 for a 10 TB drive seemed amazing, unfortunately it was DOA. Stick to name brands!
The drive came dead on arrival. No paperwork, info, etc. But they are usually so simple to set up that’s no biggie.Very frustrating, but the price seemed too good to pass up, Too bad its junk. Also, when you click on the “reviews” for it on Amazon, they are all about some tail light thing for Dodge Ram Trucks! Come on Amazon, that’s embarrassing!

Too Good To Be True
Because of the size and cost of this drive I really wanted it to work. I attempted to use this on a Late 2013 MacPro but as soon as I plugged it in it somehow corrupted my OS which I ended up having to reinstall to get everything working again. So after 2 days of fixing my computer and formatting the drive I did a few quick speed tests but those failed every time. I attempted to use this as a backup drive but after only transferring 118 Gigs in 24 hours I decided I needed to send it back. As a comparison, I spent twice as much on an external drive and I was able to back up over 5 Terabytes in 5 hours.

Should have read other reviews before buying
Just as so many others found, price was too good to be true. Plugged drive in and it instantly looked good 9.53 TB reported by OS. Started copying files to it and it puked out with less than 100GB written. Scanned disk and it reported 100's of errors. Tried to reformat (without the quick option so that it would confirm all sectors), and after 3 hours gave up. Back it goes for a refund.

these are garbage. Two failed within 14 days of receiving them.
Looked like a great deal, However Both 10TB Gold drives failed within a couple weeks, but were only used for a very limited time. We will see how they respond to my request for replacements.

Without documentation and not functioning at the beginning.
I got that drive in a short time. That drive came without any documentation, just a box.It arrived but did not function completely. I tried to connect and reconnect three different computers (two iMac's one Windows OS), but the drive did not respond. I contacted the technical support from Amazon, we did not find a solution, and we agreed to return this drive to Amazon and refund.I tried to replace the USB cable from my stock, starting that process. This time I succeeded in "rescuing" that drive, but first, I reformated this drive to exFat format.Read/Write speeds are very low.

Super slow upload
Adding files are a pain takes way to longAnd when u use items on the drive they lag and take a while to open. Considering returning them
