Works amazing , high quality, saves time and money!
I got tired of trying to cut through some of the thicker cables I use for my Ham Radio station and decided to break down and buy these. After using them now for some time, I really should have made this purchase long ago. These are great cutters, they are strong, sharp and it’s obvious they will last a lifetime. They make what used to be a tedious chore a simple act.As far as saving time, they do this by simply and quickly cutting my cables. They save me money because now my cables start off with very clean straight cuts and when I am working to attach the various adapters (which are also expensive) I have a great starting point and don’t have to worry about re-working the ends before making the attachments.5 stars, great tool, great price and if you need to cut any serious cables they are well worth the investment.

Simply Great Quality
I needed a replacement for an old damaged cable cutter and purchased these based on Greenlee's reputation for quality. Now, pliers of any kind are for the most part pretty simple, but they do need to be made properly in order to work well. These Greenlees don't disappoint. Whether cutting thick power cable, or LMR coax, the result is the same, a clean cut ready to prep for termination. I heartily recommend them.

Nice tool - high quality - very sharp
This is a very heavy duty cutter that easily goes through main wiring harnesses in vehicles. Keep in mind that while this is called a cable cutter it is not meant for steel cables. It works best on copper or aluminum wire cables. As I still have Greenlee tools from the 70's I would expect this to last a long time as well.

Do the job, but not what I expected
They work well , but they are not as depicted in the first picture. I held out from buying directly from a store because I wanted green lees like my old ones. The green handle versions were slimmer and much more polished. What they sent the black handle version is much thicker and feels lower quality, definitely not as polished/ finished feeling. They work but next time I think I would just buy any other brand.

Greenlee Cutter, what more do you need to know?
Greenlee is a wonderful USA brand. My cutter was made up in IL. Cuts well, rust resistant, & heat treated. The Technical Details says "fiberglass handles" and "Adjustable Pivot Bolt", but they are not. They are plastic coated handles, and fixed pivot bolt. They are a great cable cutter though. Goes though the toughest cables without any effort.

Great cutters
These are a great set of cutters at this price point. I don't believe they are hardened the best. The edge will chip and roll relatively easily, hindering their smoothness, especially if ever used on any material they aren't designed for. However, with proper care, they're very sharp and have lots of leverage, will slice through #2 with practically no effort.

not as pictured, possibly a fraud.
This tool has a slightly different shape than the one in the picture, a different color handle, and both sides of the blade are ground, rather than one side, so it is not clear that this was forged. Also the tool is heavier than I expected, and the hinge is stiffer than I expected. Overall, not great at all, I specifically wanted the original, as pictured. Not sure if the design was changed, or if these are a fraud. I do pretty high-paced, high-volume work, so I want only the best tools, and I already have another 'adequate' cable cutter by Crescent which I was hoping to replace. . Unfortunately I opened the single-use package before noticing the differences, so it probably can't be returned.update; I did return the tool and later reordered from another seller. got the same result. it appears that the tool has been re-designed; basically it has a lower quality steel than the one I remember; it doesn't hold its edge as well, the edge is less fine, and the overall tool is much heavier. Very disappointed, but I kept it this time becuase it does work, and I don't use it often enough to need a really good one.Update; a couple years have gone by and they are still using the old image. False advertising. The new model is just noy worth its weight in your tool belt. Really disappointing.

High quality tool
You might save a few bucks on other brands - which is fine if your cable sizes are smaller - but, if you want to cut 1/0 cable, this is the tool. Some others will cut it, but after several cuts you will notice the struggle. I've always preferred Greenlee and Klein for my electrical tools.
