MSI Modern 15 Thin and Light Daily Laptop: 15.6" FHD 1080p, Intel Core i7-1195G7, Intel Iris Xe, 16GB, 512GB SSD, Win10, Carbon Gray (A11MU-681)

This is a relatively fast laptop and I have been quite satisfied with it's use in the business. However, within a few months of purchasing, the power cord connection plug which inserts into the laptop began melting and smoking. We quickly removed the cord and the laptop seems ok for now. It does make me question the quality. If we hadn't been present to unplug it, our business may have burned down. So, good laptop. Dangerous power cord.

have had the modern 15 for a couple weeks now, it is everything i would expect from a high end performing brand like msi to produce. very pleased with smoothness and operation. system is quick, efficient, responsive, like i said, everything you could expect from such a brand.my question is longevity. i am traditionally a dell user, however changed brands due to keyboard preferences. (for some reason all new laptops come with horrible half sized D-pads, no home/end etc. garbage.) having great experience with dells performance and longevity, my bar is set pretty high.will come back and update if any wild changes occur, but msi may have converted a customer for life.

It's the best laptop you can buy for the price, the screen is vivid and crispy, it has a full aluminum body and backlit keyboard, the thermals at full load are fantastic, around 70 degrees at rendering in premiere and 27 degrees idle or watching videos. The only issue is battery life, it last about 4 hours doing everyday tasks like web browsing or taking notes.

Our first MSI. Just for home. Some word processing, browser, a few games. If I was a gamer Id get the higher level machines but this is affordable for the laptop that bounces around from kitchen table to living room just for your basic home jobs. Very happy I bought this.

Amazing laptop. Wouldn't expect anything less from MSI. The purchasing and shipping phase was also perfect. So props to the seller for that.Powerful laptop with decent specs for a relatively low price. Definitely modern

The laptop itself is fine, it does what a laptop does. Nothing really great about it, which is so strange that it has the LOUDEST FAN EVER. I'm pretty decent with computers so even without running anything, and checking the power of the CPU--the fans kick on randomly and are EXTREMELY loud. Even with headphones in it's still loud as hell.

The laptop was good while it lasted.After a couple of months it started to seriously overheat; even when I only had one tab on chrome open working in google docs. Then, whenever I left it to fall asleep it would overheat, the battery would drain (most times), and it would shut off until it cooled down completely. And sometimes it took more than an hour to get it back on. Then (because of the overheating problem I think), it started to get this weird yellow/orange bruising on the sides of the screen.I was being super careful with this computer since I needed it. I never dropped it, hit it on something, or spilled something on it. It just randomly started malfunctioning. After a full year of owning it, I finally decided to try and get it repaired with the Asurion plan I got on Amazon when I bought the computer. But they said they couldn't fix it and gave me a refund for the laptop.

ITEM DOES NOT MATCH THE DESCRIPTION. DESCRIPTION IMAGE SHOWS LAPTOP WITH "MSI" LETTERING ON FRONT. BOUGHT IT BECAUSE IT LOOKS MORE PROFESSIONAL. NOPE, GOT A LAPTOP WITH A DRAGON ON IT. INACCURATE AND MISLEADING ITEM!

Tiene un comentario el equipo estando trabajando de repente se apaga. Al rpincipio lo hacia muy esporadicamente y ahora lo hace acada rato. No recomiendo la compra de este equipo y en genral no volvere a comprar nada de esta marca.

Muy rápido el equipo ademas de ser escalable hasta 64 Gb en ram muy buena máquina.
